    Subway, Yes Please!

That does look good! I looked up carbs in English Muffins it is 25 grams.
  3. Nuts are a good fat!! As long as it's in moderation and your sleeve can handle them, go for it!! Congrats!! I remember my turning point was at about 4 weeks too. I felt so relieved. Elated. Like 'NOW my new life starts and I can do this!' Is that kinda how you feel? :-)

    Period During Sugery

Same thing happened to me. Bad timing, huh? They won't want a tampon in, but if that's what you use, it's ok to go to the hospital with it in. Just tell them and they will have you take it out when you put the hospital gown on- they usually have you do a 'last pee' before you get tucked into bed. Good luck!!

    When Do You Take Miralax?

Hi! I used to take it am/pm. Half of the dosage each time. It made things 'flow' better. If you can tolerate supplements, Magnesium pills are also good to take. That's all I have to take now, with only the occasional need for Miralax.

    Severe Hair Loss

Do a search on here and you'll find some pretty interesting hair regimes. Some swear by them, others say it's inevitable. I was sleeved in August. My whole life i've been blessed w long thick blonde hair. I'm 51 and not a grey hair on my head. Last month my hair started falling out like crazy. The final straw was when it kept getting in my food. Last friday i went and got it all chopped off. Super short. I love it. But what's weird is that it stopped falling out!! I have no idea why. But it looks healthy, albeit much thinner. So maybe cutting your hair and 'starting over' may be an option too? Good luck!
  8. Great question! I tried an artichoke a few nites ago and it didn't agree with me. It's a fav of mine so I will try again. I'm 4 months post-op and chicken and eggs are still very unappealing to me. I pretty much only eat fish & cheese these days.

I'm pretty sure its a heat rash. But i see my surgeon for a checkup next week and i think I better show him. I had no idea I could get a yeast infection in that area!! Thanks!!

Whoa! At 2.5 weeks many of us are still on liquid or pureed! I hope you'll be ok! It's crazy how doctors plans are so different!

    Sorry To Ask But........

It really depends on age and how much you have to lose.

    Panicking

Seriously? That's a pound a day ladies! The sleeve surgery isn't an instant fix. Give your body a chance to lose the years of weight it's been dealing with.
