1.
I'm the same way and it seems like stress makes it worse...it also seems like it happens to a good many people on here and while I'm not a doctor' date=' I would guess that it is a normal thing for us sleevers. One day, I'll eat two egg whites with a little shredded cheese and the next day, I'm full after less than half of one! It varies so greatly, it's crazy. I love my sleeve though, because before surgery...I could've eaten 4 whole eggs with cheese and bacon. :-/[/quote'] It's nice to know I'm not the only one, it's so weird though. This morning half of a banana filled me up, I do agree though I love my sleeve. Before it I could easily eat 6 tacos and down a whole 32oz drink with it.
2. My sleeve is tempermental. The other night at dinner I ate 2 hard shell tacos comfortably, after not eating all day because I was extremely busy. But yesterday 4 bites of my mini wheats filled me up and so did the 3 bites of chicken at dinner. It's like it changes everyday, the amount I can eat. I'm 8 months out so I don't know if it's normal. Any opinions?
3. I'm 8 months out and believe I may be struggling with it. I have a bowel movement once or twice a week, and when I do, I have a horrific stomach ache that starts a an hour before and gets worse as I'm going. It is extremely difficult to go and feels harder than a normal movement. Has anyone encountered this problem and if so what can I do to make it better? A fiber supplement possibly? I'd like a long-term solution so laxatives and softeners are not what I'm looking for. Or do you think this is something greater than constipation? Help :/
4. I'm 20, 8 months post-op so I was 29 when I had the surgery. I do have issues with loose skin, not as bad but I do. I lost 113lbs so far.
5. I actually did research and it was created 2 weeks ago.
6. Yeah, my relationship has fallen apart. Recently found out my fiancé has a dating profile on "benaughty". Guess my stretch marks, saggy boobs, and loose skin has changed his mind about me. Completely shattered my heart and confidence. I hate my body now more than ever.
7. When your belly no longer sticks out of the water when you're taking a tubby
8. I'm the exact same way, today I'm getting full after two bites when yesterday I was garbage guts
9. I'm in the same boat. I'm almost 8 months out and my scale has completely stopped moving. It hasn't moved in weeks, I'm getting discouraged. Hopefully this passes for us soon.
10. So I'm 7.5 months out, and I feel like I can eat like a normal non-sleeved person on some days. Example: Today I treated myself to Dunkin Donuts, and I was able to eat a whole boston creme without discomfort. But yesterday, two bites of everything I ate filled me up. Has anyone experienced this? Or is my sleeve stretching.
11. Protein shake in the morning and whatever I make for lunch and dinner the rest of the day. I usually have a lot of chicken and mozzarella cheese to get Protein in. I haven't exercised yet actually because of a back injury.
12. 111lbs down, surgery was July 30th 2012
13. I don't know about anyone else but mine are gone, I do know what you're talking about though. I had them under my armpits from the fat hanging over but after 105 they are gone
14. I did have a lot of it in my legs and arms, but it unfortunately took the one-way train to goneville along with my fat. I'm actually very curvy, my hips are wide but there's not an ounce of fat on them, just bone. I'm also guilty of having a J-Lo butt so I have that curve on my backside that won't ever go away lol
15. Thank you! If only I posted a picture of my thighs, skin city lol those are going to be the hard part, I definitely have to tone them like CRAZY
16. Me last June at my engagement party and me almost 7 months post-op
17. Oh and I'm 5'5. Don't be fooled I DO have some loose skin in the front under my belly button. The little bump you see is actually really old fat I gained in high school that's loose and yucky that I'm hoping goes soon lol.
