Lil Miss Ree got a reaction from stacy23 in Getting Hit On After Surgery
I did it for both reasons as well.
I completely agree that you need to be attracted to a person. They don't have to be the hottest thing since sliced bread but whatever attracts you to them has to be there.
I've asked and you kinda end up getting this deer in headlights look and a bunch of stammering. They don't seem to have an answer.
I don't hold it against anyone and I wouldn't end a friendship over it but I don't think I want to date you.
    Thanks for the input.

Lil Miss Ree got a reaction from kristikay in Little Nsv But It Made Me Smile
I was getting dressed today and bent down to tie my sneakers. Legs perfectly straight. Bent over and tied my shoes. Didn't squat. Didn't bend my knees. Not sitting on the bed. Just bent over. Leaned a little further. I can almost put my palms flat in the floor. Not yet. But almost. With my legs straight.
Made me realize that last night when I was out, I bent over the same way to pick up the darts I dropped.
It the little things in life. Happy Saturday!

Lil Miss Ree got a reaction from AdeptDreamer in Happy 3 Months Surgiversary To Me!
Today is 3 months since i had my surgery and as of this morning I am down 80 pounds.
I used to wear a size 24 tall and now I have on a size 18 which is a little loose. My shirts are a 1/2. Can even get away with an extrA large from some places. I blame that on the girls. Lol.
I think I still have fat eyes tho. Lol. I try to see the new me but sometimes I still see the old me. It's getting better as the days go on. I think because it happened so fast I haven't completely caught up.
Some days when the scale doesn't move I get this overwhelming fear that it has stopped and that's it. Makes me wonder sometimes how I passed the psych exam. Lol.
I'm so happy and the ony thig I regret is not having done this sooner.
First picture is day of. Then in between days and the last picture was yesterday. Never in my life would I have worn a fitted tank top with a short sweater.
I have a shape and it's not round. I have a waist. Why didn't I get one sooner? As a friend pointed out to me yesterday, "look at that hour glass shape!".
I couldn't be happier and I wish you all the same happiness and luck that I've had so far.

Lil Miss Ree got a reaction from AbbieRoad in Tall Sleevers? 6'?
You are all my new best friends!! I'm 5'11. 6 foot on a tall day. I think I wanna be 185 but I don't remember 185 so I don't know how I'll look. I too feel like everyone is shorter and I can't get an idea of what to expect at a lower weight but you all helped a lot.
Yayyyy for talk girls in 4 inch heels. Because let me tell you, I can't wait til my 4" heels can stay on lover than an hour. I'm getting there. My 2-3" work shoes no longer come off at work so I'm hoping my weeked shoes follow soon.

Lil Miss Ree got a reaction from mrscastillo in Mocha Iced Coffee
I was sleeves 6/18. As of this morning I am 66 pounds down. I have not cheated. I haven't even craved a cup cake which was my all time fave before surgery. The only thing I crave now is cherry tomatoes. Which I strange to me since pre-surgery, I hated anything related to the Tomato.
Before surgery I had a medium moha iced coffee with skin milk from Dunkin donuts every morning. 2 or 3 on the weekends. Even with snow on the ground. (I hate eating or drinking anything hot). I haven't had once since before my pre-op diet. I tried everything I could. I went to Starbucks and got suar free Syrup instead. No chocolate but I tried every other flavor tht was sugar free. It didn't do it for me. I bought sugar free Hershey's syrup. It tasted pretty good. I couldn't tell it as that free. U ordered an iced coffee with skin milk and put my own syrup in. The syrup clumped and tasted terrible. So I gave up on coffee. I've given it up for lent and I didn't die so I'll live.
Until today. I couldn't resist. I went to get gas and the coffee was calling me. Taunting me. I gave in. But I got a small. It tasted as good as I remember if not better. I only drank half of it because I guess it was too much for my tummy. But it was soooo yummerific.
My question is, is it so bad to have it once in a while if I am doing everything else I am supposed to do to the letter? I don't want it every day. It would be a waste because I'm not going to finish it. But once a week or once every other week? Is that too much sugar that I shouldn't have?
I see my nutritionist on Wednesday so unfounded to ask her as well. But I'd like to know how iter people who are actually sleeved feel.
    Thanks.
P.s. I'm sitting on the couch with my legs crossed writing this. I just needed to share that with people who would get what it meant. If it was 3 months ago, my legs wouldn't be crossed. ????
