Welcome Jill! Your surgery is coming right up! Good for you. It was good meeting Tabitha, Paula and Barb at the meeting last night. Great to put faces to the names. :-)

My surgeon once told me, "If you are concerned about something, I want to know about it." I'm sure your Dr. feels the same. Call them. What could it hurt?

What a difference! You are really slimming down all over. I took a "before" picture the day of my all day psychological group meeting (can't remember what it was called) but I haven't yet taken an "after" one. Soon. Soon.

I just love that dress! Some color in a gown really perks it up. :-) And your beaming smile says it all. You are going to be a drop dead gorgeous bride! Edit: Oh and they enlarge with a click, folks...don't miss that!

Your Dr. will be happy that you lost some after surgery. Don't sweat it. They know how hard this period is. Don't be too hard on yourself. Good luck and be careful with that first fill.

Sandra, maybe you haven't been doing this, but my tip for scale trauma is...don't weigh very often! Sorry, I just had to say it. Ragdoll, it sounds like your one person in the group was as bad as my 4 put together. It really was insane and I've thought about making a call. The first person with a question hadn't had surgery yet and asked about insurance. Well, by the time those 4 or 5 got done with the subject the woman who asked it actually APOLOGIZED for asking it! Oh and I forgot to mention there was also another woman who was new in town and to the group and really thought she should be leading it! Wehn we were in rows and she had something to say, she would turn completely around and address everyone, in a stern manner I might add. She knew everything! Then after the break when the leader had placed the chairs in a circle, sure enough, there she was right next to her facing the group from the front. The leader is such a kind person, I hate to say anything, but seriously, if it keeps me from going back it needs to be addressed. I couldn't have been the only one. One woman who has been going since April and is there every week let out a big sigh just before we got on the elevator. I asked if she was all right and she said she was just tired, but I think I know why! Sorry to go on about this, but did I mention it was terrible? :-)

See what I mean?? *thinks good thoughts* ragdoll said: I went to a support group last night that had the potential to be a really good thing but one loud mouthed know it all ruined it for everyone else. I have never been so irritated in all my life. I wont say much more for fear of her seeing this! ragdoll, amazingly i had an almost identical experience at my local support group last night! The only difference is that there were at least FOUR loud mouths. I mean, while I can appreciate their enthusiasm, how can they be so rude and apparently not even realize it! I came home from the group and hubby asked how it went and I just said TERRIBLE! The group leader just kind of sat with her mouth hanging open. Not that I blame her. She couldn't exactly tell them to shut up, and anything less...they didn't even hear! I don't even know if I'll go back until I've graduated to the "banded for over 6 months" group.

That's a real shame, Sandra. I can't even begin to understand that mentality. I have heard others here complain of the same thing, though. For myself, I've lost and gained so many times, they would have stopped talking to me one time or another over the years, but never have. This time should be no different.

I'm back from the Dr. and I did have a loss! Only 2 pounds, but I'll take it! As long as the downward trend continues, I'm happy! Congrats on your jeans, girls!! I haven't owned a pair of jeans in a looong time, but I intend to get some when I get toward goal! Those stretchy ones sound nice. Oh, and even my husband commented that he can tell I've lost weight! The reason that is even mentionable is that he has really never said anything when I gained OR lost weight. Smart guy I've got. *nods* But for him to say it now really made me smile. He no longer has to be careful!! Keep going everybody! We can do this!

Wezy, congrats on the loss! I'm headed to the see my GP this morning so, of course they will weigh me. It will be a little over 2 weeks since the last time. I'm hoping for a good loss, but have no real idea if that will happen. *fingers crossed*

Ginger, I'm glad I could help! :-) Ragdoll, I can see a difference in the 1 month and 2 month. It's in your abdomen on the side view, very clearly. Your rear, too! My second fill is a little better than the first, but absolutely not the sweet spot. I'm going to wait until 15 days past the last fill to call for another appt. That way I'll be sure the "delayed response" time frame will be past. I've had a few "hungry days". Even so, I have never eaten anything to be ashamed of, just eaten more food than I should. WE CAN DO THIS!

Hi Linda...welcome! Manatee, I think the liquid diet might be just the thing. I've decided that's exactly what I'll do if/when I hit a plateau. If you try it, be sure to let us know the results!
