  1. Hi all. I'm pretty new here, only posted a few times but I've been reading a lot. I had my sleeve done on 28th August, and everything has gone well, except that about 2-3 weeks ago my energy levels just dropped out and have not bounced back. I thought it was a hormonal/time of the month issue but I'm still so drained. I'm not sleeping well at night, despite being tired and feeling sleepy, and between the lack of decent sleep and the tiredness, I'm feeling really low. I'm getting plenty of Water, eating well and taking my multis. Any suggestions on what might be causing this feeling and how to overcome it?

Book Club (Inspirational Weight Loss Fiction)

"You don't have to say you love me" by Sarra Manning is a good one. I picked it up after reading an article about the authors own weight loss and how it affected her.

    My Mom

It's amazing that your mum is doing that for you. I do have private health insurance but it doesn't cover all of it, and my sister offered to lend me the money to do it so that I could base my choices on whether I wanted it rather than money. Having family so generous and understanding is awesome

    Attention ! Australian Sleevers

Puppyphat, I can't see any difference either, even though I know I've lost some weight and other people (that know about the surgery) say that they can. I'm down 26kg since the pre-op diet but when I started at 179 it's not such a huge amount. But a good start. I'm amazed at some of the numbers people have here. If I was 100kg odd I don't think I would have contemplated this surgery. Cracking the 100kg mark is my first big goal and I was telling my bf that I'd be hot by then. Lol. My major learning experience - Hardest thing so far is drinking enough when trying to be conscious of not drinking when eating, and not being able to just chug a bottle of Water if I feel too dry.

    Attention ! Australian Sleevers

Hi everyone. This is my first post, but I've been reading the board for a few weeks. I'm in Sydney do this thread seemed like a good place to start posting. I got sleeved at the end of August and am slowly getting used to the changes. Part of me is not sure I did the right thing, even though I was completely certain beforehand. Fear of failure I guess. I'm not sure I will do things right and make this work for me. Now that I've said hello I should be more likely to respond and post. I look forward to getting to know you all
