  1. Okay all I have a major problem. Every time I eat I have to fart.....Loud farts to... I go back to work on Monday and I don't know what to do. I teach and I can not be walking around a bunch of 5th graders and fart all day. How embarrassing? Does anyone else have this problem?

  3. I didn't have a itchy feeling though.
  4. You are so right. I call my husband in the bathroom and ask him if he smelled me. He said No but i know that he did not want to hurt my feelings. So i called my daughter in (she is 8) and she said yeah mommy. No sex for me because i can smell myself and it is awful. I think i take a shower every time i use the restroom.
  5. I cant wait until tomorrow i need some energy...tired of sleeping...lol
  6. Update: I have not been on in a while so i decided to give an update. After about day 9 i stared to feel better. I am still not getting in all my fluids it just so hard but i am trying. According to my scale at home i have not been losing any more weight. I must be at the stall. I think that I am going through the stall because i am not eating enough. My body is holding on to everything. I am tierd most of the time and I plan to let my doctor know on Thursday. Although i have not started vitamins yet. (Doc wanted me to wait until checkup) I think that i have pulled a stitch on the inside of my large incision. I keep feeling pain then a very bad burning sensation. (Very Painful). I am continuing to pray each day to feel and get better. I had to sit and have a talk with myself about why i got the surgery, why it was necessary and i try not to complain because i know that getting health is my number one concern. Overall I am happy with my decision. I will continue to pray for those who are having complications.
  7. I have 3 children so my husband brings home treats and things for them. They still eat burgers, fries, pizza, chips, candy, cookies, etc... I donot want to take these things from them because i had the surgery. It is hard but i continue to remind myself of why i had the surgery. I take it 1 day at a time.
  8. i am praying for you and your family.
  9. I would go with another to be on the safe side. The end of the year will be here before you know it.
  10. I tried the refried beans too and they made me soooooooooo sick. I stepped back to the liquids for a day. Today i made soft eggs and i had about 1/4 cup of that and I was full. It tasted great. I use 1 egg, a little 2 milk, and a sprinkle of cheese for extra protein.
  11. I got sleeved on Sept. 17 at first it is difficult to get all the liquids in. I have been working hard at it. I am finally able to drink a bottle of water in about 2hrs. I do not regret getting the sleeve because i know that it is going to get much better later down the road. GOOD LUCK!!
  12. WOW!! great weight loss. How much did you loose pre-op. I feel like my weight lose is slow i lost 12lb pre-op and only 7lb since surgery.
  13. I was only able to have ice chips the day after surgery and i didn't even want that because I did not have and appetite. I am a week and some days out and still on clear liquid. I am sure that your symptoms will subside soon.
  14. I wanted to know how often do you guys weigh yourself? I have decided to weigh once a week on Monday since that is the day i got my surgery. And if i start to get depressed with the scale i am going to weigh once a month on the 17.
  15. I know my husband bought a pizza for dinner today and I really wanted a bite of it. JUST A LITTLE PIECE..but since i had to go back on the liquids i did not want to risk it. I feel really hungry all the time too. Maybe it is just head hunger as the call it but i think my body wants to eat. I would love a piece of fish or shrimp or something...
  16. I hope that all is going to be well with you. Sending prayers your way...
  17. Okay I am about to try and drink regular water...WHICH I LOVE but for some reason it has been tasting a little funny. I am trying my best not to get dehydrated. So here we go....
  18. I had surgery on Sept. 17 and I hear mu tummy all the time. Scared me so I call the doc and he said that it was normal.
  19. I am happy to report today that I am feeling much better. I went back to the liquid stage and do not have any heartburn. I was able to get down my 6oz protein shake in about 40 minutes. I am also able to drink water and not feel that little pain at the bottom of my stomach. So happy right NOW!!
  20. I just hate to vent about this but I am feeling so bad. I am going to continue to pray and when i see my doc i am going to ask him why he had to cut so much stomach out....LOL. Thanks so much for the support. I think that if i can get over the feeling of the little pain that i feel when i swallow i will be fine. Oh and the heartburn that i never had.
  21. Take the NUT advice she knows what she is talking about.....
  22. Why does it seems like every post i read someone had to get their gall bladder removed after the surgery? Does the surgery cause this? I just had surgery on Sept. 17 and wanted to know if I should be worried about having to get it taken out.
