  1. Hello fellow sleevers, it's been a looooonnng time since I've been on here. Anyways, I was wondering if any of you guys still find your self trying "diets" and failing at them like we did when we were pre-sleeved? I had my surgery on 9/12/12 and started out at 220. I'm now 150 but I've been there since the end of Feb. So two months without a lost is really frustrating for me even with working out, I feel as if I should be losing something. Well I've found that lately with all the stress going on in my life and the added fact that I haven't lost anymore weight, that I'm eating whatever junk I can put in my mouth. I really want to stop so that I don't regain but I crave junk food and will eat it over regular food any day . I'm thinking about going on a diet like the Dukan or maybe HCG shots but I'm not to sure how that will work since I have the sleeve now. What do you guys think about those diets after surgery?
  2. I'm in. Good idea with the spreadsheet.
  3. How in the world can they expect us to eat 1200 cal/day. Sometimes, I barely get in 600 and I have to force that. I'm getting to the point where I don't feel like eating no more.
  4. I'm so glad that you decided to write this post because I'm actually going through this now with my husband. Since I have had the surgery and losing weight, I have been going through hell around here. If a guy posts or comment on my FB page, I'm being accused of sleeping with them. He now has concerns every time a notification comes through my phone throughout the day b/c he doesn't know if it's a text from a guy. It's been horrible. The thing is I lost weight a couple years back and he acted the same way. He was able to convince me to eat this and that and now that I look back did things that would prevent me from being active or trying to stay healthy. He would make the same comments about him being with me while I was overweight but I had also had plenty of boyfriends before him. I wish I would've listened to the voice in my head years ago to leave him because it's worst now that we're married with kids. We don't really talk these days b/c he flips out on me but I've tried to suggest counseling and sometimes he says okay and other times he doesn't want to consider it. He keeps saying "you're losing wieght so I know you're going to leave me when it's all gone". If I've stayed with him for 9 years of his crap, what would me losing weight have to do with anything. Girl, why you are not attached to him as his wife, just leave and don't deal with it. I am seriously considering divorce with this foolishness over here.
  5. *Update* Surgery date: 9/12 SW: 220 CW: 171.4 48.6 lbs down (I think I'm a slow loser) I didn't do my pre surgery diet either
  6. How do you like that? Im thinking about getting one
  7. You look great. Congrats on the loss.
  8. I am so sick too. Been feeling like crap all week.
  9. I wish I were one of those who dumped after they have sweets. Since I been stressed, I can eat a whole bag of candy :-( that makes things even more depressing
  10. Ok, here we go again. I'm in! Surgery date: 9/12 220 Current weight: 185 Christmas goal weight: 175
  11. I've actually been small and petitie my whole life until 2003 after the birth of my daughter when I got on birth (Depo). I blew up. I started the process of yoyo dieting and started packing on more weight. I had my second child in 2010 and was never able to lose weight regardless of diet or exercise
  12. I posted in the wrong spot earlier. How is everyone from the 12th doing?
