  2. Same day, same weight loss. I am very fortunate!
  3. My wonderful supportive husband, my family, and my new lease on live. Being able to have thanksgiving dinner with my whole family at my house. And Saturday will be 2 months since surgery, and I have lost 40 pounds. I am very thankful for my improved health. Life is good to us!
  4. Hi Susan Nice to see you are up and moving. How are you feeling?
  5. I was sleeved on the 24th. Have lost 15 lbs since then, but slowing down now. That is ok too. I feel great, and cannot wait for the next stage.
  6. Start weight 226, current 200.4 surgery date 9/24. Feeling great!
  7. Mine is simple, it is my time to think of me and my health.
  8. I was sleeved on the 24th too. One trick I have is take chichen noodle soup and strain off the noodles and stunn. Believe mi, it tastes much better than just broth. The popsicles are really a good idea! Hang in there, we will both make it!!!
  9. Sounds like you already know the answer to that question. Why risk it?
  10. I am 5 days post op, and have been running a fever since surgery. I've been achy and hurt all over. Spent most of today in bed, or laying on the sofa. Temp has been running between 100.5 to 99.2. Well tonight it is 98.0. I feel like tomorrow is going to be a really good day. I might even leave the house. Have my husband drive me to the mall. Life is good!!!
  11. I am planning on 2weeks, unless something happens.
  12. I'm sure tomorrow will be even better!
  13. Hi, thanks for asking. I got home yesterday afternoon. There are some aspects that are harder than I would have imagined. Like getting in all the liquids. Having issues with that. Not hungry, so the 10 billion food commercials don't really phase me. My legs feel like lead, but I guess that will get better with time. You will be hAppy to know the crew at the hospital are exceptional. Will taker really good care of you, but don't expect to sleep for more than an hour at a time. To sum it up, I'm not out dancing an Irish jig yet, but will you there. You will do great. Hang in there. The liquid diet is awful, but it will get you where you need to be. After your surgery, we'll compare notes. :-). Keep me up to date on your progress please.
  14. I want to enjoy day by day without all the drugs I have to take today. I want to do the Susan g Komen without having to stop for air. I want to shop in the regular size department without getting looks. I want to get on a plane and fasten my seat belt without an extension. I want to buy a sexy swim suit. I want to live life!
  15. Thank you for thinking of me. Everything seems to have gone well. I've been up and walking, and cannot wait to see what tomorrow brings... Hopefully some water.
  16. I do get the flue shot year by year, but will wait until later in the year. I was asked about the pneumonia shot though. Where are you staying the night before? We MADD reservations at the Hilton. Good price and really close.
  17. Yes. Surgery is at 7:00am. First of the day. Thank god. It would drive me nuts if I had to wait all day. I'm getting really nervous!
  18. Hi, was that yesterday about 11:00? I heard them on a call while I was there. They are all so nice in this office.
  19. I am on day 8. Trust me, day 5 was the worst! Keep busy. That is the only thing that helps me.
  20. Sorry... S/b per-op
  21. I am pro-op. my day is the 24th.
  22. Starting my second week. Everyone told me if I made it to day 3 I would be OK. Not exactly. This is tough. This weekend I have tried hard to stay busy so to keep my mind off of food. Celery is saving me!!! Good luck.
