Thank you for your response' date=' you are an inspiration to me . You make your own granola ? Thats awesome !!! I even like your workout schedule, it makes sense. Did you notice a slower weightloss while you were adding muscle?[/quote']Yes if I lift too much I don't lose that's why I rest every third day. Yes I make granola out of cashews, pumpkin seed, sunflower seeds, honey, and coconut, chop them all finely together and bake, it's AMAZING!

Oh' date=' my.... good analogy! Since I knew the insurance was gonna cover it (two weeks ago), I went off (a little at a time ... I flirted first) my 3 year lo carb, high Protein, no processed food, as-healthy-as-I-can diet. I've been in a full on LAST FLING AFFAIR with many the "bad foods" I'm saying goodbye to in quantity and may only wink at in the future!!!After my surgery I will be faithful and adhere to my new sleeve diet religiously... only after 6 to 8 months I plan to allow myself an occasional flirt with my favorites and indulge on rare (super rare) occasions ... dark chocolate, a slice of bacon, a bite or two of birthday cake or fresh made bread.< /p>
I know very well if I say "I'll never eat that again" it will make me obsess about it anyway. Knowing I can eventually have it in a small amount helps me accept the lifestyle and claim it wholeheartedly.
A girl's gotta flirt! Especially when I'll be looking so HOT! (lol...)[/quote']
You ladies are hot already!

Hmmmm looking good' date=' would you be so kind to give us a days worth of eating also how often do you work out?[/quote']I workout on a three day rotation, day 1 run 5-7 miles, day two full body Crossfit routine, day 3 rest.... Repeat!!!!!
Breakfast : Greek yogurt with chopped fruit and granola, not from store, I make it myself.
Snack : yogurt/cheese/fruit/baby carrots just depends
dinner : grilled Protein like chicken/turkey/fish and some veggies like green beans/ corn/ broccoli and SMALL serving of rice
That's a basic days, these are all very small portions and I eat till I'm full, but I rarely finish.

Thank you - nope havent worked out like crazy there are weeks where I work out more than others but I do strength train 2x a week with a personal trainer as well as walking and a bit of running and team sports. This was the one piece of advice given to me by a bypass patient at my info evening. Tone as you lose as theres not much u can do about it afterwards.
No secrets - but I did go up to 1000 cal as soon as I could so I didnt go into starvation mode. I also mix my food up daily - so my body doesnt get used to anything. Always Protein first. Dont forget to treat yourself - everything in moderation has worked for me
Good luck with your journey!
Here's my bikini!!!

I just do lots of cardio, I run 5-8 miles every third day and do Crossfit on days I don't run. I do abs everyday to tighten my midsection and it's worked so far. I don't count carbs/protein I just eat high Protein food all day long, and on days I run I make sure I get a few servings of long grain brown rice in or I will feel terrible.
