    5 Confessions (Join In)

I confess: that I obsess over food too much still I confess: that my biggest fear is not to lose the weight I confess : that I haven't pushed past my failures yet (although I have lost 45 lb) I confess: that I hated exercise but am not realizing that I can't succeed without it I confess that I probably eat to fast still. There I've cleaned out mt closet of confessions! Thanks for understanding
  3. I'm pretty new too, and I do not regret the surgery at all, but I will say its a huge commitment and sacrifice. The fact that I will never eat the same way again is sometimes hard to deal with, but the weight loss and health benefits outweigh that by a long shot!! It just takes time to adjust I assume, I got my sleeve on 5/30/12 so I'm pretty new but I take on the challenge one day at a time ???? Good luck with everything!! #readyforchange
  4. Hi everyone! I'm new to this but I felt it important to share my story, since we have at least one thing in common, if not more.. I had my sleeve done 5/30/12. Before surgery I weighed 245 and I'm at 205 right now. As we all know and have heard this surgery is a tool not a solution. Well, as a self-proclaimed "food addict" I still struggle with numbing my emotions with food.. Only now, I can't do it. So for that I am greatful! But I am struggling adjusting to my "new life". I'm somewhere in between my overweight life and my new skinny life.... And I struggle with old habits as I am learning to develop new ones! It is definelty a daily process and I hope some of you can relate to this and give me advice on how to keep on track. Thanks!

Screw It! I'm Ready For This!

I had my surgery 5/30/12 and I can relate to all of this! I don't regret the surgery at all! It saved me from being obsessed with being fat the rest I my life. Now I have a chance to redeem some of my life! Let me just say that is a tool, as they say.. Not a soulution. As a self-declared "food addict" the urge is still there to overeat and that is a mental issue that I deal with EVERY day. It does get easier however as time goes by. I've lost 45 pounds so far and have more energy than ever before!! It's totally up to me now how I treat my body... No more blame, no more excuses. I'm done with all of that!!! Now it's "me" time!! I am worth it and I deserve to be healthy and happy... For ME ❤
