Good Luck to all!! My day is tomorrow. Can't believe it's already here. Like all of you I keep questioning everything then feel reassured then worry then freak out then feel calm again. I just really want it over with.

I can't believe I'm being sleeved tomorrow either. Good luck to us all. May God cover us:)

My surgery is Wednesday morning at 6am. I'm excited but find myself freaking out!! Am I doing the right thing? Will I fail with this too? Will the pain kill me? Oh my mind won't stop with worry!?!!! I know I want this' date=' I know I'll be ok! I'm just scared!!!! I have faith all will be well!!! Why am I so nervous?!?! I've finally made it through the 30 day Pre-op diet, tomorrow only clear liquids and bowel prep! Then it's MY day!! 8-22-12 will forever be the date of my new journey!

I am about to leave for the hospital. I have to be there at 8:30 Surgery at 10:00am

I was not able to sleep at all last night. I am ready and at the same time really nervous

please pray for me today. I am starving right now son was up cooking sweet and sour chicken

and the smell hit me and my stomach started growling and i want food. lol

Brady38 - I am a patient of Dr. Neff's. He's great! I was sleeved on Jan. 31 - you can see my stats below. I attend the support group meeting in Voorhees second Tues. of every month. Very helpful group of people. My experience has been all positive and I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Neff and his staff. Best wishes!!

I didn't see your stats. Do you remember how long you stayed in the hospital? What were your stats and how long did it take you to reach your goal? Thanks

Brady there is a meeting august 27 at 7pm in the kennedy health trax building. You should attend! Dr. Neff and Dr Balsama attend. Very motivating' date=' very inspirational.

Thank you for your encouraging and insightful posts. I'm having surgery this Tuesday and I'm at peace with my decision I've researched and prayed and prayed and prayed. Of course I'm still nervous yet excited to get healthy and take care of me for a change. Congrats on your success I hope to join you on the looser bench:)

Hi everyone! I had my post-op appointment today (surgery was August 7th). It feels so good to have those staples removed. :-) We went over my labs and everything looks great so far. I'm down a total of 22.4 lbs (includes the 2 week pre-op diet). Whohoo!!!
