  1. I'm 5 months today post op, Yay!!!!! My scars took long to heal, and 2 of them. To make a long story short, I developed 2 small keloids, which is a raised scar..they have gotten smaller and are fading. I've been using MSM cream. I tried the Ambi going cream, but it made my scars very sensitive to touch and I had to stop using it. I've also tried silicone sheets, im just not consistent with it. I do think they work. Good luck!

  2. I wish I was that lucky. I'm a slow weight loser, 40lbs in 5 months. My hair is so thin now, I'm so scared. I take my Vitamins, Biotin and what not. I have very straight hair and for a bit was curling it up with a diffuser, then I noticed, all of the sudden how thin my hair was. I didn't see any bald spots, but I can see it growing again. I can't even believe I've lost this much hair. I just pray I don't lose anymore.

  3. Not Protein, but they have a but more Vitamins than regular vitamins. I honestly feel great with them. I work 2 jobs, 2 kids and I'm a single mom and still have energy to workout when I get home after 12hrs. How do you make your Protein Shakes? I didn't like the taste of mine with milk. To me it tasted sweet. I started diluting my berry medly fruit mix and making into juice. I add half a banana, 1 scoop of protein mix, I open up and add a creatine powder pill (good for the muscles) and some goji berries and its delicious. It's actually a Meal Replacement coming up to about 250 calories. Gogi berries are healthy but just 1oz of them are 100 calories.

  4. My surgeon told me it would be difficult to consume much Protein the first 2 weeks post op. I take instead of regular Vitamins, prenatal vitamins 4 a day and I take my B12. Felt great after day 4, I'm 6 weeks post op now and I feel great. In the early stages I had sudden periods of weekness as well but they went away. I couldn't tolerate the taste if Isopure, Protein Shots or whatever else I tried.

  5. I had my surgery 8/23/12 and I'm also losing weight slowly. I have lost 23.5lbs. I noticed that increasing my calories was what helped me lose those last 5lbs. Idk if I'm supposed to consume only 800 calories a day but doing research, I've found that you need to consume calories to burn calories and 800 calories puts your body in starvation mode and you store fat. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm also burning about 900 calories a day and I eat every 3 hours.

  6. I know you're happy about the change you're about to make, but I think that if you get yourself in a state of mind that you will be healthy aside from looking and feeling better you will feel different. You may not be able to have that wedding again, but like others said, renewing your vows sounds like a great idea. Don't worry about what you didn't do in the past, worry and concentrate on living and enjoying your new life to the fullest.

  7. I drank a cup of black coffee with stevia about 4 days post op. It feelt really good in my tummy since I was barely eating. I had it black because my surgeon told me to withhold dairy products because I had IBS prior to surgery. I used to love my caramel ice coffee but since its Syrup what they add and that's pure sugar I eliminated it from my life. The only thing I've noticed now is that if I drink my coffee too fast I may feel nauseated, but other than that no problem. Enjoy!
