Yes it by a woman named Holly who was 417lbs, had sleeve surgery and her life trying to lose 300 pounds... I started crying reading her first few entries... She is a true inspiration!

Cucumbers saved my sanity when I was on my pre-op diet. I would eat a whole cucumber with a little lemon and salt and a 3oz piece of grilled chicken for lunch everyday.

I agree. First check with your doctor, but I would say yes to hummus no to pretzels. BTW my doctor/NUT don't want their patients to have bread, Pasta, etc.. until at least 6 or 8 months after surgery.
