Can I REALLY go through with this?
FeeIsMe2 replied to HumanAgain2013's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My doctor also recommended Bariatric Advantage, but I thought they were vile. I ended up using unjury chocolate Splendor with skim milk plus in the blender with ice. They are really good! Give them a try. GNC whey Protein isn't bad either. Good luck you can do this! -
I average about 30 grams a day.
-
Good Luck! You will need help for the first few days, but after that you should be ok.
-
Good luck!

Why not change brands of protein shakes, it takes a few to find the one that you will like. You could also add ice and put it in the blender and make it more like a real shake.

Look we were all nervous about having surgery to cut our stomachs, but the truth is I have been on hundreds of diets and lost over 100 pounds countless times, but each time I would put it all back on and another 20 pounds more. But I can honestly say I have no regrets (I should have done it sooner). I am down 116 pounds and able to say will stay off!! Good luck in whatever you decide!!

Ok ladies...personal question?
FeeIsMe2 replied to Jmbaker24's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Estrogen is stored in fat, maybe after the 21 pound weight loss it has thrown off your hormones. I would call your dr just in case. -
If you are going to do this surgery then don't let diet coke ruin your dreams of being thin and healthy. Don't give it that much power!

Wow you look awesome! Congrats! -
Bread is not my friend, carbs are really my downfall so I just don't eat, bread, pasta, rice etc. Plus my Dr. recommends not eating bread, etc until you have met your goal.

night gown or two piece pjs ?
FeeIsMe2 replied to lotti's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I bought pj's with me, but ended up staying in the hospital gown. Between the IV's, the drain and all the other crap it was easier to stay in the hospital gown, but I did end up wearing my pj's home. -
Good Luck!

I was back at work within a week, I have 2 kids, so slacking wasn't an option. My mom and hubby helped out around the house, remember no heavy lifting!

Going through a sensory memory lane
FeeIsMe2 replied to Susie1226's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 4 and half months out and had my first food dream /nightmare last week. I dreamed that I was eating potato chips, I was like OMG I know I'm not suppose to be eating these chips, why am I eating them. The weird thing was I didn't even want them in my dream but was eating them anyway. Very strange.
