I started to replace breakfast with a protein shake before the official pre-op diet started -- this way I could kind of ease in to it and it wouldn't be such a big shock! -

I agree, it's crazy to see some of the questions that get posted! It would seem like people don't have any post-op care or post-op information at all...

I was allowed to have coffee 1 week post op. I have a cup everyday with half & half.

Arts137, I agree by the time I decided to do the sleeve and go thru all the pre-op stuff -- I was done with my frenemy food. It had made me miserable and was slowly stealing my life away...Forget food funerals if I didn't have this surgery it would have been my funeral!
