  3. i didnt have any special soap to use, but doctor told me no lotions or deodorant day of surgery
  4. I also am band to sleeve, 3 weeks out. i am still out and will be going back to work next week. Recovery was wasn't too bad for me. Not alot of pain just sore. I stayed in the hospital for two nite and that was the only time i used any pain meds. I too find that i get tired fast, but i would do it again in a heart beat!!! I love my sleeve!!! Oh, and i am down 20lbs!

  6. my pain right after surgery was maybe a 5. i think i was more sore than anything. I also had my surgery at a surgery center. 3 hours after surgery i had to get into a van ( still hooked up to my IV) and was driven to the hospital. it was a twenty minute drive. I finally asked for pain meds around 10pm that nite just so i could fall asleep!

  8. Sorry to hear this, but i know how u feel. When did u have surgery? i slept in a recliner for a week. it just hurt too much to get out of a bed. but into my second week i was able to get back into my bed. so it will get better!!!

  11. I only need to lose 50lbs to make it to my goal weight, I was sleeved 3 weeks ago and down 20lbs so far.

  13. I had my surgery at a surgery center and my doctor gave me a heating pad right after surgery and let me take it with me to the hospital.
  14. I packed everything that u have but only used my toothbrush and toothpaste. my hospital wanted me to stay in the hosptials gowns and they gave me the non-slip socks.
  15. lol, not laughing at u, but this also happened to me but the gum also pulled out my tongue ring! i swallowed the metal ball and i was freaking out! called the ER and my doctor. They both told me if i start to feel sick to go stright to the hospital for xrays. if not it will come out the other end, sorry if tmi!
  16. i drove the second week, but didnt go far. just around town. but check with ur doctor.
  17. not really pain, just sore. i slept in a recliner for a week cause it was just easier to get up. u dont realize how many muscles u use to get up.
  18. i went home in a van. just make sure u take a pillow with u to hold up against ur stomach. it helps going over bumps in the road!
  19. are u still on liquids?? just order a small Soup.
  20. My surgery was 8/16 and i am taking 4 weeks off. I work down on the docks and do alot of lifting, so my doctor wants to make sure i am fully healed.
