Surgery went great! My pain is minimal... Nausea is horrific!!! I keep dry heaving.Congrats Kimi! Hopefully the nausea gets better. Welcome to the losers bench!

I have no clue - never happens :-/I find that hard to believe

Body glide was the best thing I ever discovered for this issue. I still use it... I just use less now that I'm post surgery. That stuff is amazing!

Sleeved on 11/26 and down 25lbs. I had a 3 week stall at only 20lbs lost. I keep telling myself at least I'm losing but sometimes it's difficult not to get frustrated and disappointed. I work out 5-6 days a week and get more than enough Water so maybe I should adjust my calorie intake or up my Protein. For now I'm just continuing on my journey and hoping the numbers on the scale keep getting smaller no matter how long it takes!

Congrats Kimi!!! I'm SO excited and happy for you

I'm 9 weeks out and I've only lost 25lbs. I was at a stall for almost 4 weeks and it was SO frustrating!! I exercise a LOT so hopefully my body is trying to find a balance
Good luck to everyone. Hang in there ... It will come off

I was a low BMI'er and I'm starting to see saggy skin in some areas.
I'm 41 yrs old.
Current BMI is 29
Total weight loss since surgery (surgery date 11/26/12) is 20 lbs. Total weight loss since September is 35lbs
I'm seeing the sag start in my lower belly and my arms . I'm hoping the Pilates and bootcamp will help but I know it won't eliminate it all
Maybe I'll have surgery for the sag and maybe not... Only time will tell how bad it is. But I'd rather be thinner and healthier with the saggy skin than overweight and miserable with no sag!!

I'm 5'5 and my goal weight is 135-140. Currently at 179 so still about 40lbs to go!

Today when completing my profile for my new Fitbit I realized for the first time in 20 years my BMI no longer puts me in the obese category! I'm now just officially overweight
Now comes the challenge of moving into the "normal weight" category!!

Without a doubt.... YES!!

That's great news Kimi!
I paid my deductible when I checked into the hospital the morning of surgery. I believe you could pay it prior to check in as well by calling member services. They mentioned several times it had to be paid prior to surgery
Keep us posted on your progress

Sleeved 11/26 down 20lbs (low weight / BMI to start)
Went back to the gym this week doing cardio, Pilates and bootcamp. Will be interested to see if this boosts the weight loss at all. But I'm more hoping it firms up the skin starting to sag!

I only told my mom and 2 best friends. No one else needed to know
As for the weight loss, I just explain it by saying I worked with a dietician and have been following a diet... All true statements
It's been 6 weeks since my surgery and so far so good!!

I just started a 100 mile challenge with my friend this month too I'm signed up for Ragnar Napa Valley 200 mile relay in a few weeks (my part is only 13 miles) but figured the 100 mile challenge is a good way to keep the momentum for the month going. Good luck on your 100 mile challenge!!
