Oh my costume is going to look super fab...Let's post before and after pics at our final posts...Post in costume if you choose to dress up...

I started out around your weight...227 on the day of surgery...I am 5'8. I had a stall last week at 4 weeks out...In fact, I gained three pounds..It was the week I introduced soft foods and I also did not exercise that week...But this week I kicked my workout game up a notched and I lost the three I gained and an additional 3 mo pounds...So I thus far, I have lost 27lbs including 1 week pre-op where I lost 5lbs...While the sleeve is a great tool, I am doing my darnest to help it with the weight loss by sticking to a workout regime...I started walking 3 miles at 60 minutes about 2 weeks post op...Now I walk/jog 3 miles at 46 minutes. I am working toward 30 minutes...I say all this to say I want to really maximize the first 6 mo of the sleeve loss...I want to be that non-ideal case and hit my goal 155-160lb within 6 mo. And that only happens with hard work both in being good with diet compliance and working out...I got 50lbs to drop over the next 5 months...I am going as hard for it as I did for cold stone creamery ice cream on double stamp day Mondays...

So sick of trying to find a cute and sexy halloween costume every year that will actually fit me and not make me look ridiculous. I find so many ADORABLE costumes in the regular sizes and every year I want to cry. Really hoping next year I'll finally get to choose from the lot and not be stuck on the plus size page contemplating what to buy for our annual costume party. I hate being limited to my choices (and I feel the same about clothes)! Who's with me?

My husband and I drink the Premier Protein brand you can get from costco or order online. They have vanilla and strawberry flavors as well as chocolate. they are RTD and are about $24 for a case of 18. 160 Cal, 30g Protein, 3-5 carb depending on flavor, 3g fat.
I pick up samples of shakes when I see ones that look interesting - some are horrid (cannot do Muscle Milk ever! They smell almost like acetone to me) and some are tolerable, but the Premier brand is one we have in the fridge at all times - one case of chocolate and one of vanilla
And congrats on your loss so far - you have achieved a lot! Don't forget where you started

You will have head hunger with the sleeve but it goes away when you transition back to solid foods.

hi guys its me moray i hope u didn't forgot about me ..... im sorry i haven't been posting anything in the last 5 months but i think i can compensate in this photo of my transformation iv lost 110 pounds and i couldn't be more happy than now my only regret about the surgery is not doing 5 years earlier .... honestly it was the best decision iv made in my life and i want to thank every body in the forums how encouraged me ...., Liliana , Suzanne , and Aroundkhy for inspiring me to lift weights during my weight loss and i thank everybody else who had a part in my weight loss journey .........
my success in my transformation was all these steps :
1 - drinking a lot of Water
2 - hitting the gym for every day in the last 5 months doing p90,p90m,weight lifting hybrid , ps its been 6 months but i didnt workout in the first month ..... you know doctors orders lol
3 - i used these supplements : whey isolate , bcaa , clutamine , Multivitamin , Vitamin e ,omega 3
4 - idry brush my skin and then rub my body in a moisturizing lotion before bed
5 - i consume from 90-120 grams of Protein a day, supplements included
6 - i visualize occasionally my self in my best form
7- determination ,determination , determination .
i will post my 9 months post op 3 months from now and i planning to provide u guys with shocking images

Please don't let this forum scare you from having surgery! Sometimes we need to whine, cry, vent but I promise 98% of us wouldn't trade it for the world. Do some medical research, don't just come to an opinion forum and get scared off! All the stress is completely worth it at the end of the day. For myself i decided i would rather be scared and do it than heavy and unhealthy and unhappy about my apparence and depressed.
It's your decision but please don't base it on just some posts on a forum!

Congratulations...I am sure it is a feeling you cant really put into words...Happy doesnt do it justice...
What were your numbers to start...

Short of going to see your doctor there is no way to tell whether it is a leak or gas. As others have said, I would suggest you follow-up with your doctor. I do hope it is only gas...I wish all my fellow sleevers only happy healings...steady weight loss and exciting new leases on life...Keep us updated. We are all thinking of you...

You should call your doctor---there is no way you can tell if it is gas or a leak. Most of the time the gas is gone by 9 days out. Question---has your drain been removed? I know most have by this point, but mine was still in at 9 days out and was the source of a ton of left shoulder pain for me.

I have told alot of people either. I am not ashamed and do not neccessarily feel the need to hide it. However, I am not sure I am prepared to deal with all the questions. I had a previous surgery date about three years and when I told people I was having surgery, there were so many who came out against it. This time around I just want to get through the surgery without have to answer a gazillion questions while on the other hand I am still trying to wade through all my answers as well. My journey is made even more difficult as I am having surgery with Dr. A in Mexico so I get that "you must be crazy" to go to Mexico to have surgery along with the usual you dont need that spill...you can do it own your own...I know this person that had it and they had so many complications or those doctors do not know the long term effect of that stuff so why you want to be the text case. So I am keeping my decision to a select few for now...
