hi Helene, My name is Marie, I am due to get my band in 13 days. reading your post frightens me! I did not realise you could have the band and not lose weight. I was told I would still have to watch what I eat, and be very careful about alcohol, dessert, fat. is it possible you are eating something which you think is low calorie, but is not? Good luck. Hi , my name is Marie, I found this site a couple of days ago, I just love the support you all give each other! I am due to get my band 22/5/07 and I cant wait. I have been yo-yoing all my life, I do well for a while, then my cravings ruin everything for me! even now, I find myself having this or that "for the last time" I am 56 today, 5ft.1 in. and 210 lbs. I am living in Dublin. I want to wish all of you the very best of good luck in your efforts to lose weight, and to thank you in advance for any help or good advice you can give me. Marie :help:
