  1. Oddly very calm tonight, I leave for the hospital at 5am and have surgery scheduled for 7:45. Thanks everyone here for your insight, your support and for all the answers you have provided that have made this decision easier for me. I look forward to joining you on the losers bench. Good luck to my fellow sleevers tomorrow! And every day for that matter. :D
  2. Try the adult dosage of Children's liquid Tylenol and warm tea. Fingers crossed for you! Good luck and feel better.
  3. It must be the Nov. 6 flu! I woke up on Saturday with a sore throat. I've been taking cold meds all weekend, using throat spray just to try and knock it out. I don't think it will matter for the surgery. Just makes recovery a little more interesting.
  4. Good luck tomorrow and for a smooth recovery!
  5. Peppermint tea also helps soothe your stomach. Feel better.
  6. Nov.6 for me! Went down my checklist and I think I have everything. I had company over the weekend, so no time for anxiety. Just going over my things for when I return from the hospital. I plan on having my iPad at the hospital also. Good luck everyone!!

  10. I am half way through my two week pre op diet, which is 3 high protein/low fat/low carb shakes and 1 meal (4-6oz lean Protein, 2 veg servings and if I want 2 starches) also a night snack if I want, sugar free/fat free pudding/yogurt or fruit. I mix up my flavors and it has not been bad at all. So far 8 lbs down in the last week. Good luck!
