  1. I can't believe how much my life has changed since nov 12... Highest weight was 233. Today 154! Never thought I would see the day. This Summer has been so fun' date=' dating and wearing size 10 white jeans! Someone pinch me! :) The only real downside is the saggy skin and deflated boobs... But nothing a good bra can't fix! I'm not going to complain about that! :) cheers to all the success of my fellow November sleevers!! :)

That is amazing! You look so good! Congrats :-)

  2. How's everyone doing??? I am feeling so great lately - finally seeing the changes in my clothes (down from a size 22 to a 16) and so many people are noticing' date=' which feels great. Anyone have any tips for getting to the gym more frequently? That's definitely where I need to start buckling down more. Before/Today pic below.[/quote']

Daaam girl! looking smokin hot :-)

  3. From what I was told by my surgeon, Protein is the most important food group post-op.For at least the first 6 months. It helps recovery, healing, preserves lean mass, keeps you fuller longer, and your body spends more energy trying to burn it. My doc told me post op no matter what you eat your going to lose weight,,But, if you don't get enough protein in, you will lose muscle as well as fat.. And the more you weigh, the more your going to lose initially.. So if somebodys weighs 400lbs, of course they will lose much more weight than somebody who is 260lbs..

  4. Sleeved on November 20th' date=' 3 weeks post-op today.... Still having a hard time drinking my fluids, anybody else having the same problem? Last week, I was admitted into the hospital for dehydration and Fluid on my lung.... I am also very tired, about 7pm, I want to feel normal again....[/quote']

Hang in there! I was very tired for the first 5 weeks. Just make sure you get your fluids in, no matter how long it takes. You will start to feel normal soon!

  5. I'm going to have to stop following this site for a minute. Today I calculated how much weight I've lost since surgery...17 pounds in six weeks. I am so discouraged especially after reading about your successes. Very down right now.

Don't get down! You have to realize that we all lose at different rates. Some of us weigh more than others. And as you know, the more you weigh, the more you lose in the first few months. And look at it this way, your still averaging almost 3lbs per week! That seems pretty good to me. Don't be discouraged. Imagine if you lose 3lbs a week for 6 months? I think your on a good track
