  1. Had a lot of time and mind consuming things come up and distract me from my goal over the last 7 months. My diet and weight loss fell to the back burner and the burner wasn't even on! My weight is currently 163 lbs yikes! Time to refocus and recommit! I'm ready!

Yes! Same here except My situation is some what diff. Had the sleeve done in Oct 2012 & thought with the down sizing & grehlin removal, losing weight would be effortless. My surgery was done in Costa Rica.

So as far as taking it seriously enuf & following a structured program, I didn't.Less amounts of food intake @ one setting but I grazed all day & into the night on one kind of food & when it became boring,on to the next choice. No exercise & very small amt...

Hi I am in a similar situation ive been out a little over 8 months I feel as if I never had the surgery done. I can eat everything!!! yes the first 50 lbs was on them but thats because your stomach is healing but I feel after it heals well, your on your own. I now joined a class twice a week and it seems to be working ok scale has started coming down again but I feel at this point of the game your basically on your own. ultimately we decide our outcomes.

  5. I don't know what the heck is going on but the weight is falling off this week like it did in the beginning! ! I've gone from 152-145 lbs...7 lbs in 1 week!! The only thing I have changed this week is my water intake (went from 48 oz a day to 64/72 oz... Can that be so powerful? I'm estatic!!

  6. 10 lbs from normal BMI!!! That number seems sooo little! Yippee! My hubby is having VSG in MX in 6 days, and I just can't wait for him to experience all that the sleeve has given to me!!! tome

  7. 9 months out today! Lost 5 lbs this month and while that number doesn't "sound" impressive I have to remind myself that 5 lbs on this little body is a MUCH bigger difference than on my previous obese body :)

  14. I think Im addicted to Gortons Simply Baked Tilapia and Salmon. I could eat it for every meal lol

  15. The best way to curb a craving is to log it BEFORE I eat it. Nine times out of ten I will decide its just not worth it, and if I DO decide its worth then I'll know I REALLY chose it and didn't just eat it absentmindedly.

  17. The first 6 months the sleeve did all the work...now its just my assistant and I am working it :)

  18. PMS...please stop messing with the results from my exercise! Even when I know you are effecting the scale it still makes me nervous

  19. 1 weeks results of being back on track...4 lbs down!! Who knew tracking on MFP, eating low carb & high protein, walking 3-5 miles a day, and getting in all my water would actually work! I realized I let the sleeve do all the work for me the first 6 months and to continue losing after 6 months I have to work my sleeve!

  22. Never underestimate the power of tracking! It helps keep calorie/carb creep away.Started tracking my food on MFP again and realized I caused my own stall. I went back to basics and have dropped 3 lbs in 2 days!
