Wow. Love it. Thanks for sharing!

I Dont Want To Lose My Hair!
I can understand. My hair is very long (almost to my ankles). It's one of the reasons I'm so afraid of the hair loss that has just begun because cutting it really isn't an option. I hear that long hair shows the hair loss a lot more clearly. Oh well. It's in the Lord's hands. If I need to be bald and humbled, at least I'll be doing it in a smaller body. LOL!

I Dont Want To Lose My Hair!
I don't want to lose mine either, but it has started within the last week or so. It's scary. I hope it will only be noticeable to me and not to anyone else.

Cooked Rice
I have no problem with rice, but I can't eat much of it. It fills my sleeve very quickly and then I don't have room for good things like protein and veggies.

2 Days Post Op And Starving!
I experienced something similar the first couple of weeks after surgery. Then it went away. I hardly ever experience hunger now....although I hear it sometimes comes back around the six month mark (I'm only three months out). Oh, and make sure you're taking a PPI just in case it's not actually hunger, but acid.

Can't Wait To Divorce My Gall Bladder!
I divorced my gallbladder in 2010. I remember the pain well. You'll be so much happier when it's out!

Nsv - Someone Finally Noticed!
I've lost a little over 43 lbs and up until today no one had even noticed. Not my friends, not my family, no one. But today a co-worker asked me if I'm losing weight. Finally! I'm not crazy about added attention, but it was a little disheartening to have lost this much weight and having nobody even realize.

Things I Miss ---But No Longer Can Tolerate.
I miss big sandwiches. I mean the kind with thick homemade bread. I could tolerate perhaps a bite of that, but I can't eat much bread at all so it's just not the same. Another thing that's changed a lot is that I used to LOVE coconut water. Now for some reason, I can't stand the taste of it. It tastes totally different to me now. I don't know why. lol

Whats That Tube?
I had one. It doesn't really hurt when it's in, but it can be a little uncomfortable when trying to sleep, move around etc. It doesn't hurt coming out either, but it does feel really weird coming out!

Stuck
Yes, try just taking teeny tiny baby sips for now. After the swelling in your tummy goes down you'll be able to take bigger sips.

Spanx Tops? Lol...but Serious...
I don't really know enough to know if there is much of a difference, but I do know that plenty of men wear the compression type under clothes after WLS.

Passport
I wouldn't risk it. You are investing a few thousand dollars at least into the surgery, it's worth the peace of mind to spend an extra $100 on a passport. Besides, the passport is good for 10 years and after you lose all the weight you might want to treat yourself to an island vacation. lol

Stretching Your Sleeve?
You won't stretch your pouch out by drinking liquids. Don't worry, it may seem like you are able to consume a lot right now, but once you get on solid foods you will start to feel the restriction quite quickly!

July Sleevers---How Much Have You Lost?
I seem to be on the slower end of the losing scale, but I'm okay with that as long as I keep losing. I was sleeved July 6th and have lost 42 lbs.

Passport
Go to Walgreens and ask for a Passport photo. Then bring the passport photo and all your IDs to the post office. Most post offices will also take the passport photo, but if you go to Walgreens first it will cost half as much money.

Faith Matters! Or Faith Matters?
Yes, faith matters! When I first started thinking about having this done, I had some things to wrestle with as far as my faith is concerned. Part of me felt that going through the surgery meant I was failing God...Like if I only had enough faith I could do this on my own....If I trusted God more I would depend on Him instead of running to food...or running to surgery. Those kinds of thoughts. Yet, the more I prayed about it, the more every door just started opening for me and the more peace I felt about going through with it. I realized that this is a tool like many other tools and I could learn to serve Him better if I cut out the temptation. I also found the verse that talks about cutting off your hand or plucking out your eye very comforting. Gluttony is a sin. If I can cut out a part of my body to keep from falling into that sin, isn't that better than not doing it? I'm soo happy I went through with this surgery. My faith has skyrocketed since then. I don't have the guilt and anxiety about food that I once did. God kept me through the procedure and is keeping me still. He is a faithful God!

I Already Feel Weak....
I felt weak for the first couple of weeks after surgery. After that I was fine!

Oh man, I want some skinny sex!

I Have f**king Had It!
I know you are frustrated, but you are only a week out from surgery. This early in the process, you will definitely have some discomfort. You just need to grin and bare it for awhile. I promise you, it will get better. I don't really believe you were happy when you were fat, at least not that happy. Otherwise, you wouldn't have decided to get sleeved in the first place. You might not be able to eat the way you want to, but soon your weight will start melting away and you'll remember why you did this in the first place. The sacrifices are worth it. Hang in there.

Embarrassing....
I also went to Mexico and back without buckling my seat belt because I did not want to have to ask for an extender. I figure if the plane is going to crash, a seat belt probably won't help me much anyway.
