2 Days Post Op And Starving!

Both my hospital roomie and I can not sleep from the hunger. This is not head hunger. It is stomach growling loudly hunger. I thought this procedure was supposed to help with hunger. What is up?

I experienced something similar the first couple of weeks after surgery. Then it went away. I hardly ever experience hunger now....although I hear it sometimes comes back around the six month mark (I'm only three months out).

Oh, and make sure you're taking a PPI just in case it's not actually hunger, but acid.

Same here, took til day 10 til my hunger went way down! Hang in there it should get better soon!
