  1. Ok, not sure where that post went, but I'm not giving up, this one just won't be as long.

Sherry, hope you had a better night sleep and are starting to feel better, both physically and mentally :tongue2:.

Here's a picture of my tree, only I changed the skirt now to a white one with snow flakes to match my new tree.

Big diff between this one and last years.

  2. I love my low rise jeans, only since I've lost the weight and had a tummy tuck! At my age, I can't stand pressure around my waist or pants that cut me in the crotch, talk about miserable. I'm totally into comfort, if I find jean that fit better than others, I'll buy two or three pairs. Do you have a Dress Barn close by? They make the most comfortable jeans and they have good sales on their holiday clothes.

  3. Sherry, I'm so sorry you're having to go through this, espcially this time of year. The thought of losing my band scares the chit out of me! Please keep us informed and know we're her for you, I know that's not much comfort at this time, but like you said, you need to heal first. (((Hugs))))

Kat, I'm interested in the list too, I'm ashamed to admit, but I owe everyone two cards, I don't know what happened, but I never got my cards out last year.

My address is the same too, but I'll pass it on again, thanks for taking the time to compile the list.

  4. I think most of us still see ourselves as the largest person in the room, but it does get better. I'm almost four years out and I love going to parties. I have my own Harley and I used to hate going to biker bars because I was always the fat old lady on a Harley, now I love riding up on my bike. Since I'm short, my hubby always parks my bike, I just pull up, snap my fingers and yell, VALET, and he parks my bike.

I've included a picture of me a couple of weeks ago at a surprise 40th anniversary party my hubby threw for me.

  5. This is a great poll! I've had two breast reductions and still have puppy dog ear breasts, I'm so very disappointed in my last surgery, (they were 26 years apart, yes I'm old, haha). It was supposed to be a reduction and lift, but because my nipples had already been moved once, my ps was afraid to cut into the scar, WTF, he's a surgeon. I told him the morning of surgery, if you think I need implants, to give me the lift that I'm looking for, do it now, I'm pre authorizing it.

Now a year later, I have to schedule implants and still don't know which to get, which is the only reason I haven't had the surgery. Since I'm semi-retired, my hubby and I travel a lot to warm places, and every time I see firm lifted breasts, I think I'm going for the implants as soon as I get home, but I always find a reason to put it off, but I think I'll make that call today, if I only knew which one, hmmmm saline or silicone?

Oh yeah, what about size, I'm still falling out of the sides of a DD, though I am down from the H cup that I was a year ago. Do you think the implants will pull the skin up and taut?

And one more thing, I also had Lipo on the back flanks and on the sides of my breast, that has to be "touched up" too. I told my ps I wanted him to use that new sonar type lipo this time and he said it cost $400 extra just for the "special" machine, any suggestions?

    Sorry for the long post.

  6. Gee, my last fill was 1-1/2 ago, haha, my advice, follow your doctor's orders. Some doctors suggest more than 24 hours liquids, my doctor says liquids 24 hours too.

I never had any pain related issues after any fills, even the first year which was NOT under flouro, so not sure why you are. I did have a panic attack during my first fill, four years ago, I hate needles.

    Good luck on your journey.

  7. My jeans don't go down to 4, but they vary from 14, 12, 10's. Yesterday I had on a pair of 14's figured they'd be comfy, NOT! They were the regular waisted, I thought I'd come unglued by the time I got home. I thought because they were a little big the "regular" waist wouldn't bother me. I felt like my entire body was in a vise, LOL. I love my 10s and 12s that are low waisted, never again with those waist fitted jeans.

I'm on a mission to find some corduroy type jeans today, they're so much more comfy.

  8. Sherry, what an ordeal, what a long day! I'm glad you're back home, safe and warm! We stopped at a "Days Inn" on the way to Floriday years ago, and I slept in my clothes, because I still believe the sheets had not been changed from the last "many" visitors. I didn't sleep a wink, it was awful.

Well gals, hope everyone has their shopping done, I figued there must be some reason everyone's missing.

    Later gals!

  9. Michaele, glad everyone is ok, such a pia to go through, but like Trish said, congrats on the "silver lining".

I'm so pissed, excuse the unlady like talk, we were scheduled to go see the cliff divers tonight, had my taxi lined up and everything, then the freakin pipe bursted on our floor, no Water from 2 until after 8'pm! Needless to say they will hear about it tomorrow. They offered to move us, but I was not about to move at 8pm, plus I'm a germ freak and had already doused this room with disinfectant, so it was fairly comfortable, you know, door knobs, light switches, head boards, couch cushions, chairs, door handles, railings, toilet flusher thingy, faucets, counters, phones, remotes, you name it I sprayed it. Oh well, the trip has been fabulous until today, I even made a point of speaking to the General Manager today and telling him how fab this resort is, only to have our Water disrupted for over 6 hours. I know waaawaaawaa. Worse things could have happened.

    Later gals.

  10. Good Morning Gals,

It's beautiful here today, it's only 9:30 and already 73 degrees.

Our Breakfast is included in our stay :(, I hate breakfast, it seems like such a waste of good calories, not to mention it's too early for that stuff to go down.

BTW, still waiting on pictures of Sherry's, Bettys and Jetti's new hairdo, oh yeah Betty, pictures of the gals too, hahaha.

Going to get my suit on and get the last day of sun, hubby is playing golf this am and will play again this afternoon, lots of me time. I'm thinking of doing a massage today.

    Hugs

  11. Carla, you should have done it right then and there, probably not much will be accomplished at this point...jerks!

Sad to hear about Ivy, he was so sick, he was a fun, fun guy! Not sure of all the details, I'm in Acapulco, but my daughter in law called and told me he had passed.

I see it's cold in VA, the weather here is awesome.

How are you doing with the WL? I'm going for a fill when I get back, I've had way too good of a time, too many "spirits", it's been over 1.5 year, so I guess it's time.

By the way, the only place I use the card is Golden Corral, yuk, I don't like the foods, only the Soup, so it's not often. One of my fav restaurants is Uno's, they have a fab' Soup bar for lunch.

Nice to see you on line...take care.

  12. Ola', from Mexico! Not sure that's how to spell hello, but anyway, good morning.

It's supposed to be another 90 degree day today, the weather has been perfect, day and night. Of course the trip here was a nightmare. We missed a connecting flight in Atlanta, so there were two more connections, we were supposed to arrive at 4:30, didn't get ere until 11:00, WITHOUT LUGGAGE of course! Our bags didn't get here until after NOON, the next day. Hubby was more upset about the golf clubs than his luggage. I was so, so, so glad to finally get my suitcase and be able to brush my teeth.

Sherry, I want to see pictures! I use to refuse to allow anyone to use a razor on my hair, but now that I found someone who knows what she's doing, I love it.

Michaele, I'm going to schedule a fill when I get home, I feel so fat! The clothes still fit, but ugh! The x-ray is te safest way to go, but much more expensive in my case, because it's entirely out of pocket .

Betty, hope your weekend is more relaxing.

Jetti, did you dance the night away?

Darcy, get outta pogo, come play with us.

Diane, having a few for you today . OMG, they sell Vodka at Walmart! All their juices are in little boxes and expiration dates a year away, how neat is that!

    Trish, how is your mom?

Well gotta run gals, it's 10:30 here, missing the sun.

    Hugs

  13. Atlantic City sounds like a fun spot, not sure of the costs vs NYC.

I agree with Donna in ref to the busy airports, not to mention intimidating rush, rush, rush of things.

Maybe another East Coast location would be as accommodating, such as Virginia Beach. Virginia Beach offers a host of convention centers, as well as a huge variety of hotels. A more central, mid Atlantic area would also be more inviting to those further south,....just a suggestion.

  14. Michaele, my first two years of fills were without flouro, x-ray, he only missed my port once and that was my first fill! Although it's extremely expensive $850 to do under flouro, I think it's so worth it from a safety point of view. At $850 a fill, it's been over a year and a half since a fill, LOL. When I return from Acapulco, I'll probably schedule a fill just so I can check my band too.

Betty, it was a wonderful night, I don't know of anyone that didn't have a great time, even a special friend who had to leave early....Diane,. I wish you all could have been there, by the way Donna where were you?

Well, gotta start packing, hugs all.
