  1. LOL, I am an old timer, at least 3.5 years banded. I haven't had a fill in over a year and I have recently started having small bouts of ...hmmm, I'm hungry, that's odd, so I may need a tweaking as Dr. Terracina calls it. I so enjoy where I am now, that I'm going to resist on my own, but if I start to gain, I'll be making that dreaded fill appointment.

Alisa, what size band do you have? I have a 4cc with a little over 2.5, so I've still got lots of room in mine, LOL. Also, who said you'd only eat 4oz, that sounds like someone who has gastric bypass.

Sounds like you've got your head on straight now, as for telling others, I'd shout it from the mountain tops, I love my band and the new me!

You can do it and anytime you need someone to lean on, let me know...

    Hugs!

  2. Kat, I'm so sorry you're having such a rough time, ugh! I haven't had any pains with the new belly button, but believe it or not, I'm still tender, not painfully so, but tender where the Lipo was done.

    Hugs girlie.

Diane, sorry I missed the call, I was selling raffle tickets at a fund raiser for the House of Delegates, at his golf tournament. We had lots of fun and wonderful food, lots of seafood, even soft-shell crabs.

    Jetti, you're looking so good.

Sherry, I was in a slump with wl for over a year, then dropped quite a bit before the Tummy Tuck. It will happen.

    Hugs girlies, going to bed.

    Nity nite!

  3. Good Morning Girlies

Sherry, hope the neck is better soon, get DH to massage it

Jetti, we're so proud of you and your WL.

Eileenie, are you doing something special today or SOS?

    Betty, I sure miss ya!

Kat, you will feel like a new person once those drains come out. Dealing with those was truly awful, especially at shower time, BUT, I love my new tummy. I hated dumping the drains too, but when I had to wear that thing around my neck and hook the drains on it, well it made me almost pass out. When you get them taken out, be sure to take a deep breath and let it out slowly while they're pulling the drains out. I made the mistake of blowing out too fast, so keep that in mind :).

Sherry, the swelling is pretty much gone now, but I go back for my last follow up on Friday, I'll be having a serious discussion with my surgeon about my disappointment with the "girls". Not firm at all and certainly not small enough, I think I've mentioned I'm still a DD, ugh!

Have a safe and Happy Memorial Day!

  4. Kat, I had to laugh at your remark sitting up straight hurts, wait until you try to stand up straight...OUCH! It takes a while for that to happen, but it's so worth the pain. I hated the drain tubes, that was the worst part for me.

    Hugs to all!

  5. Sherry, yikes! I bet you are sore after all of that. With 24 trucks on the road, I'm so thankful each day the guys get back in and get the trucks off the road. It's a war zone out there for sure.

I have to go to work today, although, it's raining. My new girl, her baby has pinkeye and can't go to the sitter. I'm so sorry she's sick, but I'm not happy about having to go to work either. It's raining right now, so I'll probably close the office and put the phones on the answering service, oh the joys of being the boss, LOL.

Welcome Trish, good luck on your journey.

Diane, when you going to the beach? I think we're going down for a couple of days this weekend, come back on Sunday.

    Later gals.

  6. Globetrotter, call your doctor immediately. From personal experience, you definitely need a slight unfill.

As for damaging your band, yes, it's a strong possibility, more so, if you're "really" throwing up. This can put a strain on the band as well as your esophagus.

Bottom line, what you're experiencing is NOT normal.

Let us know how you're doing.

  7. Kat, here's a big hug for you! You've got a lot on your plate, I wish you the very best.

Betty called last night, her computer crashed and she won't have one until Friday, she said to tell everyone hello and she misses us .

    Gotta run, ttyl

  8. Happy Mothers Day Gals!

    Jetti, aren't you looking HOTT

Sherri, I love the smoothie Tums too, they're harder to find now too, loved it when they sold the huge bottles at costco and Sams. I don't get the sour taste at night, just that ache in the middle of my back, so I pop a couple of Tums, and it instantly goes away.

Mandy, you must be doing much better, going to the zoo, wtg.

Diane, when I lose a post like that, I hit the back arrow at the top of the page or the forward arrow and I can usually find my post..:tt1:

Eileenie, did you get that fill?

I got the bill for my last fill, which was last May, $850.00, and my insurance company denied it, because it wasn't filed until March!!!!

Looks like me and the doctor's office will be talking.

We're going to the LPGA in KingsMill today, that's golf for you cuties that didn't know, we've got tickets in the press box, overlooking the 18th hole. Last year they had booze, yesterday, all they had was beer and wine, YUK! My husband said it was because I got so drunk last year, they stopped serving the hard stuff....WTH.

    Hugs to all!

  9. Good Morning Gal Pals

Well, I guess we'll settle down at home this month, seems like we were gone the entire month of April. I'm ready to get my pool open and do some serious fishing

Jetti, what a wonderful NSV, I don't even run to get the phone, boobs are still so big, I'd bruise my chin if I did.

Betty....no Betty checking in this weekend, must be busy partying.

Speaking of partying, anyone tried a Margaretta Sunrise, I hear they're very good.

Diane, it was so good to talk to you Saturday morning. I enjoy our long talks .

Sherry, I'm a fair weather rider, I've only riden in the rain one time in 11 years, and that was because it was a surprise downpour, I was scared chitless .

Mandy, I took the course too, I think it should be mandatory for everyone that rides to take it, especially those that are "experienced" and think they know it all. One of the things I learned is using the front brake, my hubby NEVER uses his front brake. I'd never riden anything with two wheels, besides a bicycle, when I took the course. My youngest son was in a panic, he still worries about me, well I worry about me too. I hadn't riden in almost three years until last weekend. Check out the flying arms..that's what happens when the fat doesn't fill them out anymore.

Eileenie, I'm so sorry about your doggy

Kat, the hubby's a keeper for sure. I was getting a new diamond, but fruggal me decided I'd rather put the money into the ground....in the form of a pool. For a little more than the hunk of diamond I wanted, we're putting a pool in at our cottage, but I'm still on the hunt for a great deal on a 2.5-3 carat diamond ...at a great price :wink2:.

Diane, I was 47 when I took the MC class :biggrin2:.

Kat, hop back on that cycle, it will make you feel younger, and scared at the same time, LOL.

  10. Hey girlies, I see you Diane, Sherry, and Kat . Hope everyone is ok, so much to catch up with, I've missed everyone.

Well, I just downed 4 Ducolax tablets and since 4:00 PM, I have drunk/drank 5- 20oz Gatorades, three with Miralax, yum! I go for my colonoscopy tomorrow, can't wait, LOL.

    Eileen, sorry about your doggy.

    Kat, how is your daughter?

Sherry, may I borrow your post, you pretty much caught up on all the girls...."ditto".

Diane, I think of you every time I eat my cheese crunchies :blushing:, and I'll think of you tonight when I'm having my dinner of a Popsicle.

Gotta run, and I do mean run....later
