Dini, I'm doing great today. Much better, and finally done beating myself up. Has Adam starting ironing yet?? You made me laugh when you said something about pigs flying. I'm originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, the city known for flying pigs!! We even have the Flying Pig Marathon every year.

Hey Mango, did you get to check out the AP Band pics yet? Pretty cool. From what I understand they just had a medical conference at the end of June when they officially released the band. I know some Dr. were given a few to try on patients before June. I guess it just depended on who you knewor something like that. Anyway, it's cool you're getting one. I asked my Dr. about it and he said they both are good bands and both willwork well

MsPris, I'm so sorry to hear about your surgery. My condolences to you, but you must stay and chat with us, along as your ok with it, we'll be happy to have you here anytime. So is there no hope later? Maybe you just need to heal for a while. I can't imagine what your feeling, but we're sure glad you are ok after everything you went through.

AppleBlossom, I was on Sparkpeople for a while last year after leaving the Biggest Loser club. A lot from that web site went to sparkpeople because it was free. It is a nice place, but I never did any journaling.

AppleBlossom, marshmellows sound mushy to me, and they are Fat Free!!! Have fun camping!!

Mango, it's AP band. The only diffeence is that the tube inside that gets inflated is I believe 360 degrees, instead of the others that do not inflate around where the band is closed together. I believe Dr. Curry in Cincinnati has ben using it. He was my second choice for surgery in my area. I think the tubing has ridgesin ti too, instead of being smooth. There are some threads on here that show the difference. You may want to use the Search up on top of this page and see what you can find there. Yes, the powder I have says Jay Robbs Unflavored Whey Protein Isolate Powder. In the ingredients are 100% Whey Protein Isolate and Lecithin. That's it. Supposedly the body absords this protein better, it's the purest you can get out there.

I don't have much restriction either, maybe that's another reason why I got into so much trouble the other night, even though I tried to portion out things on my plate to what looked to be the right amount. Who knows, I'm passed it and ready to move on today. Heading to clean up my sons room now, it's such a mess and I've waited far too long to do this because of that reason. It will probably take a while, but I'll check back in a little bit when I sit him down for lunch. Hope you're having a great day!!

Jeanie, I think doing the liquids yesterday did me good and I'm feeling much better. Move me down 3 more lbs. I also only did 2 shakes, 1 soup, and at dinner I had a 1/4 cup of beefaroni,1/4 cup mashed potatoes (homemade with just a tad of butter) so not many caloires, and I walked last night for 25 minutes. Must of help out with the loss today.

Jeanie, yes, it sounds like our docs are on the same page with that one, what a shocker huh,LOL. I also asked at my appointment if there was such a thing as getting in too much protein, and he said no, as long as I'm using the isolate protein.
