I sign off, and when I come back, you are like the first post after mine, always. We just can't get it right. So glad your feeling better. We'll chat tonight. dmtjet, I'm getting used to the running now. I'm timing it so that I eat a meal before I leave, and then I leave and take a botle of water with me. By the time I get to where ever I'm going, I usually can stat drinking my water. I'm doing great, and today worried me because I have Hunter, and was wondering how I was going to get him in and out of a cart. So when we got to Walmart, I pushed the cart up to the car and he climbed in, no problems. We're potty training, so when we were there, he said he had to potty, so we went back and there was a bench there. I pulled up, he climbed out onto it, and we went to potty, and then he was able to climb back into the cart, and then later back into my car to go home. I worried for nothing. I didn't have to lift him at all, just held his hand so he wouldn't fall. Piece of cake!!! AshRae, glad you co-workers are supportive. If the pain gets too bad, ask one to massage your shoulder for a minute. Maybe it will push the gas out of that area!!! Dini, I'm glad is sounds like you and your father have a good realtionship, even after the pregnancy news. I miss mine so much. He would of been the best grandfather in the world. Hope he finds a way to be financially there for you and Annafransesca when you visit. I'm sure you and she will be spoiled there!!!

Dini, sounds like you need to get back in bed and wake up on the other side!! Whenever Hunter was cutting teeth he always seemed to get a cold too. I think it goes hand in hand. Just keep her comfy with some Tylenol or whatever you give her to keep fevers down. And give her lots of popsicles. That will feel good on her gums. Hope your day gets better. I'm ready to head out the door now, just waiting to say HI to you once I saw your name at the bottom that you were on. I love that thing, it's the best heads up on who's on the thread. I'll check in later with ya. Hunter is ready to go saying "Come on Mommy, Come on Mommy".

Dini, still finding out how to set up a poll. I actually started a new thread under Lapband F&Q and References to help get some directions on how to do it. Have no replies yet, but I just posted it last night. Hope to get one soon, and I'll post the polls for the cruise.

Ashrae, WOW, 13 lbs is great!!! Way to go. I'm down 14, but hope to lose 1 more before I go to Dr. tomorrow. I didn't weigh this morning, so hopefully it will be there tomorrow!!!

dmtjet, I almost forgot, I'd love to be your cyber sis. It's funny, but I consider everyone here family already. I've talked about this surgery more with all of you than I have my own sister and mother. It's going to be interesting to see how my sister reacts to this. She has never talked to me about it, she did call me the day after surgery to see how I was feeling, and that was it. She is overweight too, heavier than I, and maybe if she sees how it's going to change my life, she'll look into it for herself too. She's 3 years older than me, and she's tried everything too to lose the weight. I think she's just giving up at this point. We're not real close, but hopefully she'll watch me get it together and try it for herself. I'd love to be a role model for her. She followed in my footsteps when it came to Lasic eye surgery, now maybe she'll follow again. Just don't want to push it on her, but hope she comes to me for advice on it some day.

dmtjet, I wasn't thinking IT was going on, just meant that if I got too cuddly, then my DH might take that as a sign that I was ready for IT, and I don't want to be sending any mixed signals to him, that was all I meant by that. But I am curious as to whether anyones Dr. gave them a time limit as to how long you should wait? I know mine just said whenever I was ready, but you can be mentally ready, but not physically, so it's hard to tell. Have a great day, as I'm heading to Walmart to get some flavored water packs. They have this Cherry Limeaide that is really good!!

BfyneNTyme, How are you? How did your surgery go? We were banded on the same day. You should come back and see us at the Lucky 7's. We're having a lot of support over there, and a lot of fun. Hope everything is well!!!

Jamesmom, congrats on the banding!!! Please come join the Lucky # Sevens as we are all July 07 Bandsters that have been banded or are getting banded theis month. We'd be happy to have you, and there is a lot of support and ideas there for all, and maybe you can bring some more for us. Hope to see you there, and congrats again!!

reconciler, I'm doing great this morning, unlike how you sound. I'm so sorry it's not wht you've expected it to be, but give it a chance, and just think, tomorrow you'll be in Bandland like the rest of us. Good Luck on you pre op testing and try to relax today, maybe do a little shopping in the strip mall. All will be well, you'll see, and you'llbe home before you know it. Kathybad, your guys are beautiful, and I can't wait to see the new family with all 4 of your after the adoption of your daughter is completed. I love the old kitchen, so you'll have to post one of the new one when you're done. That stinks about the flooring guys. Why the no show?? Have they even tried to contact you?? Nite Dini, I'm not going to be up much longer either. Maybe a few more minutes. As soon as I log off, Chimboree will come on cause that's happened the past few days, so I'm trying something different tonight.

Yeah, I just want to wait to make sure. He's not in a hurry or anything, cause he's the patient kind when it comes to my health in all. At least he cares about me enough to wait until I'm healed and ready. I love him so.

jackie506, at this point I'd try to get into the Dr. in the morning. You may have a sinus infection, maybe they can perscribe a Z-pak for you, it's a five day treatment (I believe)

I think it's great how dmtjet is so cuddle with her hubby now. I can't get cuddly yet, cause you know where that leads, and I'm just ready to go there yet. Maybe after my Dr. appointment on Tuesday, when the Dr says all is good, then we may try some hanky panky, but I just don't want to screw up something. Any other post ops have any input on this, please, I know it's peronal, but I think my hubby would love to hear some positive responses!

bms0502, welcome, and you post came up fine. It's all a learning curve. We were all new at this at one time, now some of us are pros, and you'll get there too. So where are you from???
