Chim, I also have on deck for tomorrow Renee marie, and cate 54. It has taken me about an hour to post this, and I hope this works. I'll catch up tomorrow with everyone, as I'm shutting the computer down for the night. I think I'm blowing it up with all the activity it's had the past month!!!!

Tinkerbell, I've had the tuna this week with some FF mayo and a little pickle relish. It was great. I you go to the Lucky 7 recipe thread, there is a cream cheese chicken salad recipe that is really good too. Ashrae, I would yes for mushy stage on the pulled pork. Just small bites, and chew, chew, chew. Maybe even blenderize it first. Chim, I need to get in a full 45 of the Turbo Jam, but just getting back into it, I wasn't ready to go that long. Need to save some energy!!! Dini, wow girl, atleast I know my family isn't the only one that is disfunctional!!! I can't believe your dad was so worried about his car instead of you. And your cousins seem like real whiners. You are better to stay away, but poor Annafrancesca hasn't seen her god mother in 4 months. That's a shame.

Firs time back and it kicked my butt. I love walking, but need the Dvd's to switch things up. Tinkerbell, hope your soup goes down good for you. I love cream of broccoil, and add in a little cheese, extra protein!!YUM!!

Ash, just an heads up, I've been noticing a slower weight loss with all the mushy carbs I've been eating. Try to find lower carb mushies to alternate with the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes!!

Lindaa, I believe what you've said is true. I can't even imagine what the family is going through losing a child. My heart goes out to you, and the family. Sending hugs your way.

Chim, that's great about the class you took. I'm getting out the Turbo Jam Dvds today to start my excercising at home. My sone likes them, he dances while I work out. It's so cute. Later I promised if he was good we'd walk to the dollar store behing our house. He needs batteries for a toy he wants to play with and I'm all out of the size he needs, so I'll be getting in a little walk later on too.

Kathy, great to hear the kitchen is done, and everything went well. The pics were great to see, what a difference it makes!! dmtjet, sounds like you had a great time at the festival yesterday, and you did great with food, and got a lot of walking in. Doesn't if feel freeing to get out, and get back to life after the surgery. Glad to hear you had fun!! Phyl, how is the fever today??? Don't mess around with it, it could be an infection. I'd call the office ASAP to let them know, especially if you still have it. Hope everything is ok.

Renee Marie, so sorry about your bad things going on, and your dog, that's so sad. I'm so sorry. But you seem uplifted with the fact of your surgery on Tuesday, and your great new job, congrats to you. IndioGirl, I haven't tried the ground beef or turkey yet, but I have tried turkey thin slices lunch meat. I can have chili, but most have beans whick make it high on carbs, so I need to make my own. I don't know why, I'm just scared to eat it just yet. I can't have veggies unless it's baby food veggies, but I'm going to steam some squash and zucchini and try that. Chim, have a great night!!! Dini, you're here. Glad you've come back to see us babes!! Phly, it gets beter, hang in there!!

Icybreeze, I'm supposed to stay between 600 and 900 calories a day for now, but have to stay around 20 fat grams, 30 carbs, and 30 sugar. I'm finding it extremely difficult to eat on this mushy stage because a lot of what I'm allowed is carbs-mashed potatoes, oatmeal, cream of wheat, grits, corned beef hash, refried beans. They all have so many carbs. I'd follow your Dr. orders on the calories, as I would love to follow that too. I've been logging foods at fitday.com. It's nice, but they don't count sugars anywhere. NewCC, my port is centered, right under my bra line about an inch and a half.

cate54, I hear you on the head hunger issue, because I'm having problems myself today. Mostly bored, even went up to my bed to read for an hour or longer today. It's not cutting it though. I'm 3 weeks post op tomorrow, and I hate to admit it but I cheated. I made my DH a peach pie, and I had a few bites. But, I was honest and logged it on my calories as best I could, and now I'll pay because I'll have two shakes the rest of evening instead of what I had planned to eat. I'm beginning to think the trip to the grocery killed me last night. I always try to find new things to try, but I end up getting too many new things at once, and I can't stand them to be sitting in my kitchen and I haven't tried them out!! My new rule will be 2 new foods a trip. That's all I can handle at a time!! Sorry to ramble on. Chim, I bet you'll sleep good tonight since you didn't last night. I think they expect people to feel out of place and they probably have given out more Lunesta then you can ever imagine,LOL. But look at it this way, you're pre op testing is finished!!!!

Slow day around here today. Where is eveyone, I guess you all have lives,LOL. My DH went fishing last night, so he's taking a nap, and I just put my son down for one, so I'm ready to talk, and no ones home- ho hmm.
