Hi everyone from CT!I haven't been on the forum in several months but decided to check in and read a few postings. I'm almost at my 2 year anniversary (10/26) and I remain thrilled with the decision to have this surgery. When I originally made this decision' date=' I had trouble finding people in CT who had it. Now, I see in this thread that there are a few who had the same surgeon (Nadzam) as me.
Hope you are all doing well![/quote']
Hi mysparky! Nice to meet you.
How much do you LOVE Dr. Nadzam???
How is maintenance going for you?

Same here! I loved plain Water pre-op, now i can barely tolerate it. I feel so waterlogged unless I add flavor. It is actually getting worse the further along I get! Crystal lite tastes too fake and gives me a headache, plain lemon is slightly better, but i love ocean spray cran-grape sugarfree pkts. Too bad they are so expensive, $3.50 for a box.
I am really hoping this is a temporary problem!

Absolutely! I felt the same for the first 6 weeks. It gets better day by day, today at 9 weeks I am feeling great. Make sure you are getting enough calories, it can make a big difference.

2 months out. I do 1 hour of cardio 2 days a week and 30 minutes of cardio and an hour of full body weight lifting 4 days a week. I hope to be releases to abdominal exercise by the doc next week. I am down 75 pounds.Wow! 75lbs Mensch? Awesome!

Congratulations, you look fantastic!

Diet and exercise are the truth! I would just stick with that, just tell them that you are eating healthy, watching portion size and exercising. I know how you feel, i don't really like talking about myself to the masses.
Best of luck to you!

I am 2 months also. I have been going to the gym 4x per week and do cardio (treadmill or stairclimber) for about 30 minutes and if I have the time I do some arm or ab work on the machines. At home I use an exercise ball or take long fast walks...it is gorgeous in New England right now so I am doing a lot of walking!

Just a fun little check in.
Yesterday I weighed and measured myself (2 mos) and I lost 32lbs and 32inches since surgery! It seems my inches are falling at the same rate as weight

I think I can speak for everyone...nerves are completely normal, I was a total wreck! Where are you having it done?

I am in awe of your willpower not to weigh!! Good for you. Stalls are so frustrating, I'm sure you will be happy when you weigh again.
