  2. I'm signed up. How do I change my coach to you. The only dvd I have is Brazil butt lift. The chalean I think its called is a little too costly for me right now. I really want to tone up. I only have 10 lbs to goal. Oh and Good job!!!!
  3. I think I eat a lot compared to others that are nearly 5 months out. B- silk chocolate soy drink 6 oz before work out L- 4 oz refried Beans with cheese n sour cream D- about 4 oz broccoli n beef . Forgot to measure ate right from take out container S- grande nonfat carmel macchiato from Starbucks S- 1 cup all natural aged white cheddar pop corn. I'm not full. I just no I've had enough bad stuff today. So sip sip sip the rest of the night.
  4. Fried foods especially chicken and a hamburger with buns and all. Lol. I'm not tolerating bread yet. I'm almost 5 months out. Wow time flies...
  5. Nothing week 2. Week 3 I had 2 bites of chicken. Regretted it because I shouldn't have but I didn't get sick at all.
  6. Any one out there willling to spend a couple days with me in the gym??? I really need to get started with toning but not sure of appropriate form, warm up then weight lift, cardio then weight lift, weight lift then cardio lol. I've heard so much. Would just like some one to help me get started so I can develop a routine. I want to focus on my arms legs and butt. I'm willing to meet any where in the greater Sacramento area. I would prefer at a 24 hour fitness but I would meet someplace else if necessary. Thank you
  7. Hi all. I'm 5'5". My surgery was in Feb. Started at 221 now I'm 171. I've actually gained 1 1/2 pounds over the last week or so. I think I'm medium framed. My goal is 160 size 12 or where ever that weight lands me. I currently wear 14 and some 12's. I want to be comfortably in a 12. I started as a 16/18. I've just started working out in the last two weeks. Even with the gain I'm loving my sleeve. Only regret is not doing it sooner.
  8. I'm 3 1/2 months out and I still can't tolerate rice. I first tried it at 7 weeks. I felt awful. I'll probably not try it again until 6 months.
  9. Goodwill/second hand is the way to go for clothes. I've lost 45 lbs but still wear the same undies. Some are big but most fit just fine. I only bought a few new ones for control when I wear dresses.
  10. Yep has to be and I need help with it too. Looked down at myself today and saw the same wide body. (Its definitely not the same). If the scale and my clothes didn't tell me otherwise I'd swear I was still over 200 lbs. Hang in there. Our brains will catch up
  11. @ dorrie robles. Omg. I thought I was going crazy when that happened to me (pants big by the end of the day.)
  12. Would be nice to be able to take more then just a sip at a time. Especially after a work out. It's so uncomfortable for me right now that its not worth it. Im 3 1/2 months out.
  13. I like cucumber slices in my Water or lemon slices. Gives it a slightly different taste. A lot of people are talking about that MIO that you can add to your water. It's a struggle for me to get my water in too, but I know how important it is so I just keep trying. SF popsicles and broths count toward your liquids too, I think.
  14. No additional water with the Italian dressing?
  15. Milk of magnesia works well for me. Usually within 24 hours
  16. Yes I drink coffee every day. I pour a full cup but probably get down about half. Decaf only. I started drinking coffee at 6 weeks out. Surgery was 2/23/12. I was 217 I'm now as of last Thursday 176 (i only weigh myself once a week). I don't drink all the water I need to but I am getting there. I try to eat mire food then anything because I'm sick if taking pills. I've done very well. I've never thrown up. I do try to measure everything I eat to avoid over eating. And I follow the 30/20 rule with drinking. I think they only took 60% of my stomach
  17. That's what I was thinking. I'm 3 months post op and can't tolerate rice. Ill try again at 6 months. Interested in hearing if coffee stretches the sleeve? I hv a cup of decaf every morning. I have heard soda will stretch your sleeve.
  18. Hey there, I was wondering if any of your doctors recommended getting a medical ID Bracelet, have you, and if so, what does it say?
  19. Do you have to eat out for lunch at work? Is packing your lunch an option. I've saved money not eating out at lunch every day since going back to work.
  20. I eat Pasta. I can tolerate it. Just a couple bites though. I eat the chicken or shrimp first if I dont feel full ill have pasta. I'm scared to have soda lol. I think ill have problems with gas. I just started chewing gum last week with no problems. I'm down 30 something pounds but only 1 pants size and that's barely by a couple inches I can get them on but they are tight. What's with that.
  21. Thanks for the straw info. I was told I could but wasn't sure if it would make me gassy. I think I can get more liquids in that way too.
  22. Surgery date 2/23 starting weight 217 now 180. Does anyone drink with a straw? If so how has it affected you if at all.?
