@Greenfam- Yes I use MFP. The screen name is the same, look me up and add me! I was sleeved on Sept. 24th. I was at 250- 252. I lost about 10 pounds. So since the actual sleeve I am about 23-25 down. I cant remember the EXACT number but I know it was a couple of pounds off.

Hi Girls! 2 months verticalversary and I have not lost ANY weight in over 2 weeks, what the heck? I mean, I have lost a total of 33 pounds, a few were preop. So I am happy about that. TRYING to eat right which for the most part I am. Just getting SUPER frustrated. Especially when people ask me "have you lost any more weight"? I wish they would shut up. Ok, I feel better now. How is everyone else doing with their weight loss? How far are you out and how much have you lost??

NGM- The place I went before was the one where you add all of your toppings yourself and you pay by weight. I know there were sugar free options and I will definitely go for that this summer. It will help with the protein, and like you said a couple of oz is a nice treat!!

Hi everyone! Computer was down yesterday so I could not post. Namanda- I would LOVE a transition gym. You are so blessed to have access to that. Keep up the good work. NGMA- I love frozen yougurt. I used to go ALL the time before the surgery. Probably too much. Savanna- I keep stalling too. I had a good week last week and now this week I am stuck again. Even up 2 pounds, WHAT?? FOR-ME- It sounds like you are doing great! I was a 22-24 to start and I am now an 18-20. I can not wait to hit size 12!

POPCORN, yummy. I ate close to a whole bag myself!! I do not buy it anymore AT all. It was soo good and went down like air. Very dangerous for me too.

Whenever I feel I am overeating or eating too fast, I make it a habit my next meal to chew, chew, chew. NO water with meals. I still throw up on occassion when I eat to fast. Every day is a new start so just follow your Dr.s guidelines and you will do great.
  9. My prayers are with you. Know that God is the best protection and comfort you can find!!

Me too, MOM!! I have been so worried that I am not going to lose any more. People keep asking "how much have you lost"? When my response doesnt change I feel like I am doing something wrong. I know I have to hit the gym here soon.
  15. Sorry, to clarify I was asking how far out she was from the surgery not pregnancy! And to add, since you are only 2 weeks pregnant, maybe you will be lucky and not have morning sickness at all? I did not have it hardly at all with both my children. Just a tiny bit on a few occassions.

When Did You Get To Start Pureed Food?

I was 2 weeks post op and was allowed pureed soup only as well as my shakes. At 4 weeks I started the soft diet ie. eggs, chicken salad, egg salad, cottage cheese, etc. Hope that helps.

I Dont Know What Im Doing Wrong?

Hi Jessica! I am 7 weeks out today as well. I hit a BIG stall for 3 weeks. Then last week I lost 2 pounds. I feel sooo frustrated sometimes too but if you look at your weight loss history, you are down 63 pounds!!! AWESOME. That is more than me who is down 33 pounds. I rarely eat 1200 calories but I have found the best thing for me is to snack on healthy meals all day. I have my protein shake every morning, I eat edamame, string cheese, hard boiled eggs, nuts (total slider food so I am careful) peeled apples. I TRY to stay away from bread and carbs. I still eat a bite or 2 but that is it. You will stall sometimes but you seem to be doing exceptionally well. I know we want if off NOW but be patient it will happen.
  18. You poor thing! Have you talked to your Dr. about this? Your surgeon as well as your OB? I think they are going to be the best to take advice from. So you are 6 months out? You should be able to get enough in to where it would be adequate nutrition for both you and baby. Maybe more frequent smaller meals and add the protein shakes in again. Morning sickness is temporary for most people. This is one of those topics where it is such a touchy subject where someone always gets upset. I am only saying what I would do. I would deal with the morning sickness and feel like crap and be miserable for a short time for my baby. I would just talk to your Dr's to see what can be done to make you feel better. ((Hugs))
  19. I personally think you should try talking to your Dr. first to see what can be done for antinausea meds or IV fluids. That is a very big decision that may impact your life. There may be a way to feel better AND have your little one. Just my 2 cents! Good Luck!

Momofthings- Do you remember being able to eat 3 peices of pizza?? I certainly do!! And WITH Hot wings, lol Suepeeps- I am proud of you! I hate my body too much to share with everyone still even though we should love the change going on. Maybe I will add pics when I am down a few more pounds.

Justine- I do the same thing. I am guilty of taking a couple of bites and being full, and then taking a couple of more because I think "this can not be the end of my meal"!! I feel terrible after eating too much and sometimes have to purge because I am so sick. I am getting better trying not to do that to myself. It definitely is a learning curve for me too.

    My First Week

I use Premier Protein Shakes. I know you can get them online but they only deliver to Canada and USA. You can try to order from Amazon but I am not sure if they have it. There are seveeral out there, you just want to make sure that they are low carb as well as full of the Daily Nutrition you need. I was told to drink 4 of those a day. ( I only drank 3 and took a chewable vitamin). I am not sure what you have available but I would check the label. Oh and make sure you drink LOTS of water or you can get dehydrated.

    My First Week

Well make sure the shakes have adequate nutrition! You can lose the weight but I am not going to lie, it takes work and a committment from you. It is so easy to keep the bad habits. Snacking, eating too many carbs etc. You really have to focus on your protein and walk as much as possible. BUT you CAN absolutely do it if you want it. You will eat a lot less but if you snack and eat the wrong things then it will not work.
