my ticker is down to double digits!!! When I first created the ticker it stated 1 month 2 weeks and 2 days.... OMG the days are moving and I feel like I havent gotten anything accomplished.

sorry you are going through all of these shannanagins with the passport agency! I really hating dealing with them when I was younger, so when I needed a new passport, I went straight through the post office instead. They do all the work and we got our passports within 2 weeks. I hope that you get your passport in time though!!!!

I talked to alma yesterday because the paperwork just stated to start the diet 7-14 days before surgery. I know that I am a long 29 days out from surgery but I was trying to mentally prepare myself for this pre-op diet. Well according to her, I only have to do a 7 day pre-op diet because my BMI is under 40. I just missed the mark because my bmi is 39.3, but hey, thats not 40 and now I don't have to start on the 8th of May!!!!! So excited...

I am sure there are a ton of post and maybe a sticky or two about this. But I am getting so twisted and turned around that I might just be driving myself to the looney bin!!!! I would like to know what is the best CHEWABLE (preferably gummy vitamins) that are out there??? Can you tell me the brand name, flavors that are the best, and where you purchased? I know that everyones taste buds are different, but I just want to be able to see what is out there before I buy. I don't want to be stuck with the ugh face like my mother while she is chewing her Bariatic Advantage Vitamins (which she truly hates and I hate watching her take them). Also, what other vitamins and/or supplements are you taking? I see some people take b12 and also Biotin for hair loss (I definitely need my hair because my head is so big and I dont think that I would look too good bald) I will already have to deal with the booble head syndrome once I start lossing weight!!! any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!! I have my pad and pen waiting!!!! Kisha

wow that is crazy and I dont think I would be able to hang, not at all. I am a regular carrier, so they can call all they want to but once I put in my leave, I am not coming back until my doctor says its ok. They may load your car, but what about heavy parcels...walking to deliver the parcels. I dont think that is a good idea with our jobs...not at all. do you have link for the forms???? I can post them if you want...get it filled out asap

I am Using dr. Garcia and will be there for six days. Arrive on the May 21 and will get my pre op testing then. Then have surgery on the 22nd and stay in the hospital through the 24th. Then back to the hotel until the 26th and then home!!!

It's not just you. I have been Pigging out and using the surgery as the excuse to do so. And it's too the point where I am literally sick on the stomach. I know that I need to stop because it's going to be murder on me when I start that two week pre op diet but I can't help myself. I know this sounds bad but I'm glad that I'm not the only one.... Start my pre op diet on may 8th and I am not mentally prepared for it but I need it to get here faster.

Yup mom of nine if you count the man and the dog lol!!!! Good luck to you on your journey!!! I am totally through with having kids.... Time to get back to me now (well at least part time). Lol

Have you suggested that he be sleeved as well??? Either way, just talk to him. And if talking fails to a video log and then one day sit him down and show him exactly how he looks and what he is putting in his mouth. Sometimes you don't know what we do to ourselves until we actually see it...

I'm still pre op but definitely addicted to coffee. I am sorry you went through this and I hope it doesn't happen again! But at least you know ur limitations. I am not sure I want to continue dripping coffee after surgery. I told myself that during the pre op diet I was going to ween myself off.... Since I absolutely hate up chucking I think I will stick to that plan! Feel better soon

Congrats to you both for getting your dates!!!! Now comes more waiting and it sucks. But at least we can see the light at the end of the tunnel !!!!

5'2 and I'm 218 lbs now . Surgery is scheduled for may 21 and I can't wait. My goal weight is 140!!!!

Wear pants without them being destroyed from thigh rub!! Not have to worry about whether I am going to fit on a ride when I take the kids to the amusement park! Go to a regular store and buy regular clothes and not have to shop at the moo-moo store And just live!!!!!

34 more days for me!!! I know that it will really hit home once I start the pre-op diet!!!!!
