  1. Sure just message me your address and I'll put a couple in the mail for you. Remember though I don't get back to work until August 20th and that's where I have them. You may have to text me to remind me. I'll message you my number.
  2. I don't have a coach yet. Do you?
  3. I got 99 problems but a boy ain't one. Thank God I'm single right now. I personally wouldn't have been able to deal with boyfriend issues during my recovery.
  4. I have an hourglass shape even now with all the extra weight. I actually like my shape and hope I don't lose a lot of butt.
  5. This was the worst part of my whole sleeve journey. The preop diet was such an emotional and physical experience for me. I wish you the best of luck!
  6. My recovery was pretty easy. I'm 5 weeks out and I didn't throw up once. No complications at all. Thank God. My only issue was the incision and trapped gas every once in a while but I expected that. You will do great! Good Luck!
  7. I do like beach body workouts though ????
  8. @nalasmom I tried beach body shakeology in chocolate and to me they are disgusting. I have a full box at work and if you want I can send you a couple of packs to sample when I go back next week.
  9. I had the same type of pain and it turned out to be trapped gas.
  10. I cant have more than 2 ounces of food, sometimes even 1 ounce depending on what it is. I dont know what to do.
  11. Oh and I started my 5th week yesterday too.
  12. For lunch yesterday I had a turkey and pepper jack sausage with hummus. It was only 100 calories and 10g of protein. I think it was hillshire farms
  13. I was stressed about the same thing. It took exactly 4 weeks for the incision to stop hurting. Someone on the forums told me I would wake up one day and would not be in pain and that's exactly what happenned. Don't worry it will be over soon. Good Luck!!
  14. No issues here. It is surgery and you have to muscle through it. The first week was rough, but my surgery was free of complications. Thank the Lord. Good Luck!!!
  15. I want to run too. I'm going to follow the couch to 5k running plan. www.coolrunning.com
  16. @coolbreeze it's a high impact kickboxing dancing aerobic workout DVD @furby thanks girl....I usually buy my DVD's from beach body directly. I've heard Chalene extreme I've also got inferno which I haven't started yet. I'm going to try to master turbo jam fully first lol
  17. Just did the 20 min workout and I'm sweating like a pig! It was a good workout. I would highly recommend it.
  18. I bought oh yeah strawberry Protein shakes from amazon. I think a 12 pack was $36. It's 14 ounces and 32g of protein and it's 220 calories with 3g of sugar. It really tastes good especially cold. It doesn't taste chalky at all but rather like a healthy milkshake. I also like Premier Protein shakes from costco The Syntrax cookie mint one is good too. Good luck!!
  19. When I just got out of surgery and I was on my full liquid diet, I was able to drink so much soup and it was creamy soup too. The longer out I got, the tighter my restriction got. Today I'm 4 weeks out and struggled to get in 2 ounces of turkey for lunch. Trust me it will happen once you are soft and solid foods.
  20. Are you getting cold feet because of the surgery itself? Because honestly the worst part was the IV and it was so quick after that. When they wheeled me into the operating room, I was like "oh my God I'm so nerv....zzzzzzzzzz" and I was out. The first couple of days are hard but if I can do it anyone can. I'm 4 weeks out and starting to feel 100% again and I don't regret it. I'm glad they took that sucker outta me. I would have been gaining weight till this day had they not taken my stomach out. Just ask yourself what the alternative is if you don't do the surgery? Good Luck!!!
  21. I had fage Greek plain yoghurt yesterday and I opened some ranch powdered dip mix in it. It was soooooo good! I'm going to have it for lunch today too 18g of Protein. Good luck!
  22. Mimismom replied to CraftyV's topic in The Gals' Room
It's probably innocent. Maybe she felt she would get more of a response from him since you just had surgery. However one thing I don't do is brag about the man I'm with to my friends. I don't talk about how great he is in bed or how great he is to me in general because girlfriends can be jealous and catty and jinx what you have even if they don't do anything.
  23. Thanks for all the responses everybody! I appreciate it
  24. I'm 3.5 weeks out the incision pain on the one they took the stomach outta HURTS STILL! It's so frustrating! I think it's most frustrating because the pain comes and goes. Yesterday it didn't hurt as much and then today I wake up and BAM. I was more active yesterday. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Does anyone have any suggestions I can do to alleviate the pain for good. Will working out more help the area heal quicker? Also the stitch is sticking out from that incision. The incision itself looks pretty closed now with the exception of the stitch sticking out Help ????
  25. Can you get trapped gas in your lower right back area too? Sometimes after I eat (especially now since I'm on soft foods) I hiccup a lot then my lower right side hurts and I think it could be gas. I just need reassurance it's not a kidney infection.
