  1. Oh My Gosh Losing...I'm soooo sorry. I hope you can start back soon. I was going to mention swimming though. It burns a ton of calories and is not at all jarring to the body...

    Yeah, I slept on a recliner, and the day after surgery, I had to walk up a flight of stairs just to get into my house. It took a while though!

    My bf talks about that all the time. I don't know how you can carry on a conversation when you're both naked. It has to be a guy thing....I don't get it.
  20. Losing, I'm down for week 2. Glad the shoes feel better. Yeah, my trainer was concerned that I was trying to do too much too fast. She was afraid that I'd either hurt myself, or begin to hate it, and since she's an avid runner, she really wants me to be one, and to really enjoy it. I'm also starting "atkins" next time I go to the market so I can stock up. I'm going to see if I can lose some weight, which may help with the whole running thing. I keep telling myself that slow is the weigh to go with weightloss, but if I could take a quick 10 off within the next month, I know it would really help...

  22. Julie - you are brave, girl. Your legs in the after look so much sleaker. Who would have thought! I guess maybe I don't have a high tolerance for pain, but everytime I look at these pics I hurt all over. I know it sounds dumb, but I guess for the after results, its worth it. All I can say is WOW!
  23. Ok, so I tried week 3 workout I'm not sure what number now, did half. Couldn't do the other half. Trainer said to go back to week 2 and do it for a couple of weeks to build up endurance. I really just wish I could run for 5 minutes straight. But I guess if I could do that, I wouldn't necessarily need the c25k program...I don't know. I also think it would help if I could lose a little more weight, but thats also been at a standstill. I'm definately going to try lowcarbing it for a little while. See if that'll do the trick. I know that the lighter I am, the easier its going to be....
  24. Tallgirl, congrats on the loss...70lbs is AWESOME!!! I think thats what I was trying to get at, but never did. This thanksgiving is going to be so different from last year. I got rid of 42lbs and feel better than ever. I think that even though some of us are in a rut, and I'm definately one of them, we have a lot to be thankful for. I love my band and don't regret this decision for a minute.
