Perfectly normal.... Your stomach is swollen right now and the swelling needs to go down before you'll be able to eat anything... Even jello. Have you tried sugar free popsicles? Warm broth feels amazing going down right after surgery too...

Are we supposed to post pics of the portion they took out? How would we do that? I'm confused... -
I moved into my new place two weeks ago and my fridge is overrun with leftovers! Has anyone else had trouble learning to cook smaller portions? It's just me and my son, he'll be two in September.

I used Zantac 175's OTC and they worked great! -
Eggs, yogurt with a scoop of Unjury unflavored, turkey bacon, cottage cheese with fruit, turkey sausage (I don't buy premade because of all the preservatives, I make mine fresh,) anything you can find that's loaded with protein... I like yogurt with protein added because it gives me my dairy too...

I feel like I'm constantly eating trying to get my calories and Protein in, and yet I'm consistently below my calorie goal every day. Some days I still don't hit my protein goal, although it has gotten easier to get it in, its kind of a pain. I'm dreading the day my Dr tells me to up my calories Anybody else feel this way?

One month ago today heaven gained another Angel, and while its still not easy, its gotten easier. I think about her every day and miss her like crazy, but I know she's in a better place and that she and Grampy are watching over Jayden and I and keeping us safe, and somehow that makes me feel better. I love you so much Grammy and Grampy and i miss you both dearly.

Sooo I bought my dress for Micah and Katies wedding about a month ago thinking it would be too small but is have time to fit into it.. well, it fit like a glove when I bought it and now its getting to be too loose... Looks like in gonna have to take it back and hope they have it in a smaller size, otherwise its back to the drawing board!

It figures that two days after I post about not getting TOM because of my birth control, mother nature decides to assert herself as if to say "oh yeah? Watch this!". This is my second cycle in a year and by George it sucks! Is Midol an NSAID? I'm trying to figure out what I can take for these monsterous cramps!

I would say yes, but i slept through most of that day and I was heavily medicated while I was awake so I don't really know... It stands to reason I was though...

Pre op I would eat everything in sight around Tom and then eat normally the rest of the month - now I dont get a tom because of my birth control, but when i had one post op i wasn't hungry at all!

The only liquid mess I ever took post op were IV - I was on pills as soon as I left the hospital. -
Y'know - I knew there would come a time where Jayden would lock himself in his room and I'd have to remove the door knob, I just didn't think it would be within an hour of walking in the door. Guess I'll be flipping the door knob around when he wakes up!
