  1. A few days after being sleeved I noticed I am not so tired anymore which is great except when it's affecting my SLEEP. Oh my gosh! Falling asleep has been difficult for me. I used to be in bed by 9:30 or 10:00 pm and now I am up till 1:00, 2:00 or almost 3:00 and I have to really try to fall asleep. Has anyone else experienced this after surgery?
  2. Hello! October sleever here also and here is the link to my Facebook acct, please add me as well! http://www.facebook.com/AureaCristela
  3. Hey! I'm doing pretty well! I am so excited that I finally get to have pureed food today. This morning I had 3 TB egg whites and 1/2 cup of coffee (I waited 30 minutes after eating ) and everyone was right! I feel the restriction. YAY!!!! I am excited because liquids have been sliding down and was getting no restriction from them. I really intended to eat 4 TB egg whites but my sleevie told me I had enough w 3 and I stopped. So far I am down about 15 pounds as well. I am happy!!!

  10. great, it give me hope.
  11. That is a big accomplishment! Who cares if you didn't lose it as fast, your body lost it at the pace it needed to lose it at. You worked hard to lose it and I think you should be very proud that you have and that your health has improved. Congratulations! it is good to know I am not the only one losing slow and your attitude is great.
  12. OK, about the same in Mexico I think. Is it because you have family there in DR that you'd rather go there than Mexico? I have family in Mexico, I should have them set up a bed and breakfast and aftercare place for anyone who needs a place to stay after their surgery in Mexico! lol
  13. Curios, how much would all that cost in the DR?
  14. Yeah, had one of those that is till I had my sleeve and it was repaired by my Dr.
  15. Exciting, scary, hopeful and doubtful, and overwhelming all at once. I know the feeling and you may not know what to expect or how to feel but I know the taste of victory this will bring is far better than you can imagine or hope for. Good luck on your journey.
  16. I will let you know when I am going if you'd like to come along! lol (you will just have to wait a while as I just got sleeved and still need to lose quite a bit)
