Hello Everyone! I've been a member for quite a while but this is my 1st post. Today is makes 1 week post-op for me hooray!!! I look forward to getting to know you through these chats. I am 1 week post-op and have lost 8 pounds but I lost this within he first 4 days and have not lost since? Is that normal? I am still on full liquids and can only walk a little bit as I am still recovering. I've read some of your stories and successes and I am so looking forward to being another success. Thank you all for sharing your experiences. Cristela

chunkychick replied to chunkychick's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Gosh! CAN'T wait for the boobs to be bigger than the belly! lol -
Ok, so seriously.... I am 1 week post-op and my belly is looking like I am 7 months pregnant. It looks bigger than before my surgery and I understand that swelling is normal but how long till I lose this "baby" bump thing? Anyone else have/had this issue?

That's awesome, can't wait. -
I have EAS ready to drink shakes in Vanilla and I also have Syntrax Nectar. I am waiting on a mail order to come in so I can have a little more variety. Only 2 boring flavors for now! lol I tried the EAS strawberry also and they taste like strawberry quick to me. pretty good!
-
So far, I've had only shakes and just yesterday I tried yogurt. Nothing else. I need to live a little! lol

Post-Op Big Belly
chunkychick replied to chunkychick's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
They really do, not to mention I started my monthly 4 days after surgery. Hating this belly bloat! -
Yes! 2 weeks of full liquids is what the Dr told me and then will go on mushy/soft foods. I can't say I am looking forward to that. Something about pureed foods just is not appetizing to me. What about you?
-
I wish I had that same mentality.
-
I know!! it does but when it does not budge, panic sets in.
