I can eat like 5 oz at a sitting, almost one week out of surgery,,, is that too much??? Thats the amount it takes for me to feel full... and it takes me a good 30-45 minutes to eat it though. how were you doing at this stage and how much were you able to take in.?

that i felt so much better yesterday., I mean good news is i did get a few hours of sleep,,, but i woke up and oh my goodness! thank god for the nursing staff that is amazing at this hospital trying to get me as comfortable as possible! I cant wait to go home!

yes i am on a pain med. q 2 hours but still very uncomfortable. but getting a little better,,, my shoulders are making me nuts,!

they arent even bothering me really i get up and do my walks on my own... like as i am writing this my eyes are closing but i cannot stay asleep once ive fallen asleep !!!!!!!1

Did anyone have trouble sleeping after their surgery? I have been trying to sleep alll night and all day yesterday after surgery!!! and i cant ..even after she gives me the pain medicine !! advice!!!!????

i just had surgery yesterday! and i cannot sleep at all! i have been trying to sleep alll night long and its not working.

i lost 20 lbs on my preop!

no it feels normal. Yeah ive been putting hot blankets,,, but ice on my shoulders and neck seems to feel better.... ugh just wish it would go away, \

Hi my name is nikki and im 23 years old! i am married and have 2 beautiful children a boy who is one and a girl who is four!. Im 5 foot 7 and was 275 lbs, yesterday before my surgery i weighed 256. the surgery went well..... i am just in so much pain right now! My shoulder and neck are killing me! my stomach is really really sore! and idk what happened but during my surgery my leg must have been laying funny.... becayse i woke up and my knee is so swollen and hurts really bad.... it cracks everytime i take a step! they did an xray so we will see what happens. no results to that yet~! Any advice for me????????????? I have been awake for 48 hours and i just cant seem to fall asleep im so uncomfortable!!!!! i have tried everything....inlcuding counting sheep and they cannot order me a sleep med now cuz the doctor is not here...hopefully tomorrow they can!
