Congrats on throwing out the cigs. Get rid of everything. Lighters, ash trays.... It's like eating. You have to get all of the junk food out of the house. I quit

After 10 months of battling every lb and working my butt off. My Mom finally said now it really does look like you've lost weight. At least she's honest. Plus my size 12 jeans fit me way to big. I think size12 is fine but it won't hurt my feelings to have single digit size jeans.

I usually wear the Walmart Danskin brand capris workout pants with T shirts. I dont have problem with shrinkage. The are very comfortable an "in" style. Since my confidence has increased with weightloss, I have recently moved up to more stylish and attention getting compression capris from JC Penney. Very cute black with accent bright colors that are flattering. $15.

Good luck and enjoy the ride!
Thanks Grammy. Definitely lesson learned. Although, I'm close to goal I have a long way to go to make life long changes. I still struggle with head hunger, eating slowly, sugar addiction, mindful eating. I probably should go to counseling but life is to crazy right now. I trying to work on it on my own. I'm reading a book on mindful eating right now. As you said, acknowledging I have a problem is half the battle.

I seriously ate to much junk this weekend. ( I'm re-starting liquid diet tomorrow to help me get back on track). My question is after I ate a piece of cake it made me so sick. It upset my stomach, it made me "dump", heart was racing, headache, felt like blood pressure high, tongue & lips tingling. I just felt awful. Of course, I'm not used to that much sugar anymore but do you think it could be diabetes? I was never diagnosed with diabetes before but I never had trouble handling sugar like that. Anyone have any answers? Is it because my stomach is smaller and it hits your system faster?
I fell hard! Cookies, cake...It did makee feel awful. All that sugar. I gained 3 lbs. Tomorrow, I'll try to stick to Protein Shakes all day. I'm 9 mos post op and was about 11 lbs to goal
Kraft Lite Asian with sesame is awesome.
I just had my revision this morning. My story with the band is similar to yours. The doctor warned me that I won't have that constrictive feelin from the band so I need to pay extra attention to feelin when my pouch is full. There is also data that says revisions don't lose as fast as new sleevers' date=' but I sure as heck am not going to Lose any if I don't do something !!![/quote']Agree.
I'm about 12 lbs to my initial goal. I'm gonna exercise my butt off to make goal by Christmas. Who's with me?

I am doing a lot of the cooking this year so i will be making everything as healthy as possible' date=' i am already playing with a few recipes, switching out sugar for splenda, evaporated milk for fat free evaportaed milk. even found a 0 sugar brown sugar subsitute. My sister and some friends are in a weight loss challenge over the holidays and a few of us are planning to go for a walk after dinner and play games like just dance on the wii.[/quote']Where did you get the 0 sugar Brown sugar substitute?
I can eat a lot. I feel I've been able to eat more than most others since the begining. I can eat a large salad. I try to keep the Protein to about 4 oz but the lettuce & veggies are a cup & half. I can eat a whole can of corn as a snack. Scares me. I hope I haven't stretched my sleeze. I try not to eat that much and slow down but its always a struggle.
I recently read an article about one of the biggest mistakes low carbers make is not getting enough complex carbs especially when exercising as much as we are. The article suggested adding Beans to lunch & dinner. Just a thought. Sorry didn't save the article. My energy is not quite where I wish it could be. I may try adding a serving a day maybe as a snack and see how that works.
I'm a revision. The sleeve is much, much better than the band. With the band there were so many foods I couldn't eat, chicken, turkey, salad, veggies.... I was always slimming & vomiting. No problems at all with the sleeve. I'm almost to goal and pray I can keep it off but am so happy to have the band out. What a waste of time & money. There's a section on this site for revisions. Check the posts out there. Good luck & congrats.
I've had to increase exercise from an hour a day to two hours 6 days a.week. it finally got the scale moving.
I made a similar post earlier. I'm 13 lbs
my original goal. I'm thinking going 5 lbs lower for wiggle room. SW 201. Current

Wow Crystal! So impressive! Congrats. How tall are you?
Hey, it's Nov. Anybody make it to goal yet? Anybody still on this board?
Congrats!! You can do it. Let us know how it goes.
How are you doing? Anybody at goal yet? I'm still fighting to get each lb off. I have 13 to go to my initial goal but would like to get to 140 to give myself some wiggle room. If I can. Haven't seen 140 in about 20 years.
Good site but no info on a backlift
How's everyone doing?
