Hi Fellow March Sleevers!
Just got my date today.... Mach 19th!
So excited!!! Any fellow March Sleevers in Florida?
Looking forward to sharing this journey with each of you.

I feel like I'm on the fast track now...3/19. I'm so excited that I can hardly stand it!!!
Starting "Phase One" of the Pre-Op diet tomorrow.
- No starches or simple sugars
- Cut meal portions in half
- Eat Lean Protein and a vegetable or fruit with each meal
- Consume 2 servings of dairy per day
- Take 2 adult multiple Vitamins per day
- Exercise at least 5 days per week, increasing intensity and time. Increase time intervals by 10 minutes each week
Definitely, do-able!
I'll probably get more restrictive eating orders within a few days since my date is so close.
Doing EGK, chest x-ray, and blood work this week.
Hope to meet a few sleeve-sisters or brothers!

I'm worried about temptations too. It sounds like you are doing great though because you know those are poor eating choices.

Great job! Congrats on hitting One-derland! Good luck with the interview too!

I'm not looking forward to the pre-op diet either. Sorry it's a struggle but it will be worth it. Just reminder yourself that you want a successful complication-free surgery. Hope the pre-op diet time flies by! Good luck!

APPROVED!!! In less than 48 hours!!!! I'm so elated and excited. The 6 month wait was a killer!

Yay for you! Waiting 6 months was so hard for me too.

My doctor's office submitted all my paperwork to BCBC Alabama today around 10:30am!
I called my insurance around 4:45 today to see if they received the fax. The said they received a call but not a fax from the surgeon's office today. The said they told the doc a per-certification isn't required but they will need to send in the clinic data for medical review. The insurance said they hadn't received the clinical data fax when I called. I'm going to call them again the the morning to see if it worked it's way into the computer system. I'm not sure what all the insurance jargon means but I would have thought the fax would have registered in there system. I plan on bugging the heck out of the insurance.
Fingers crossed....
