  1. As far as I know it is only online.
  2. In my opinoin I dont think that any unflavored protein powders actually have no flavor. If i had to pick the best one it would hands down be unjury.
  3. Thats so awesome!! I want to weigh less than my fiance too. I am about 3 pounds away from onderland and I am hitting another stall. He weighs 175 so I have a ways to go but I bet it feels so good to say that u weigh less. Congrats! Keep sheddin those pounds!
  4. I would say that since being sleeved I am overall just more happy. My life isn't that great right now. My fiance and I have a lot of financial problems as well as family issues and numerous other things. I find that with me shedding my extra weight I am able to be more positive about things even when the outlook may look grim.
  5. That is amazing! You look sooo good congrats!
  6. I love to power walk. I do anywhere from 6 to 10 miles a day. When I first started 3 months ago I was walking slowly and doing about 3 miles and using 1# weights for my arms. Now like I said I am power walking and using 3# weights for my arms. The only issue I am having is over doing it and then my body tends to build muscle instead of losing fat. Not to take away from the original post but does anyone have any ideas on how to increase my fat burn on the treadmill. Right now I am walking at a 4.0 mph for like 2 to 2.5 hours with the 3# weights.
  7. Congrats to you! I wish I could do the same thing but I just can't. I have tried many times but I have to weigh everyday. I don't get too upset if there is a small gain or anything but I do get excited for all the losses. I will keep weighing myself until I am at goal then I will try to cut back. I would love to spend everyday not worrying about my weight but I'm just not that kind of person. IT's so hard! So I can really see how hard this will be for you and how awesome it is that you are doing it. Good Luck!!
  8. I agree with both of the previous posts. You may just be trying to do too much too soon. Try slowing down a bit and going back to liquids. I know that my doc's office has always said if you throw up then you need to go back to liquids at least 24 hours and then introduce foods again slowly. I have thrown up only a handful of times but I always felt so horrible afterwards. Rest assured tho that there is prolly nothing horribly wrong with you or anything. I think many of us have been down your road before and it will be okay. Also, many many many people cannot tolerate eggs of any kind after this surgery, you may also be one of them. Anyways call your doc if you are worried but I think it will be okay. Get some rest, slow down, and dont try eggs for a couple days. Good Luck.
  9. I agree with Bedhead. I love Target too but their sizes run small, I don't want that negative energy holding me down. I actually had to buy a pair a leggings there the other day and was a XXL. It's crazy because I wear a Large shirt and a size 12-14 pants, it made me depressed to buy anything in XXL so Blah on Target. I'm also excited to buy stuff from Pacific Sun and really any store in the mall. Also exciting is when I am somewhere like Deb's or Sear's or even Wal-Mart and I can buy clothes in Juniors and not in Misses. Hellz YAH!
  10. Congrats! This is such a great NSV. I am super proud of you for getting out there and doing it. Many people big or small don't have the courage to get out there and do the things they want whether it be weight or other things. So good for you!
  11. I am basically going to repeat other people but I was going to say enema if it's just too much to handle. Also my BF who has this issue usually does those waxy things up the butt, they work well for him. Since having the surgery I tend to be a pooping pro, it comes when it wants and there ain't no stopping it. I also take a stool softener/laxative everyday because in my opinoin there is nothing worse than being constipated. BLAH. Good Luck!
  12. Welcome Welcome! This site is SO awesome. I have been on here since way before my surgery and I still find time everyday to jump on and read the posts. I had my surgery Nov 30th and I still find there are things I dont know, plus I get to help people who may have gone thru what I went thru.
  13. I have a horrible self image. I ALWAYS see a fatter girl in the mirror. I also have a hard time believing anyones compliments. I know in time I will see myself as thinner, but for now I still see a fat girl. Sometimes I do see a thinner me, but it doesn't happen very often. I guess this is due to me always being overweight and it's going to take a long time before my mind understands that I am different. If I get down to my goal weight and I am still seeing a fat girl, it's time for some professional help LoL.
  14. I'm glad you are going to get checked on, from what everyone says dehydration is a HUGE thing. It's not something I would mess around with at all. Good Luck hun, hope all turns out well.
  15. I still drink diet soda. I drink it in moderation, my surgeon told me I was never allowed to have it again. I am not the kind of person who can be told they can NEVER do anything again. I dont hurt when I drink it, it isn't stretching me out, and I am still losing weight very rapidly. I see no problem in having a little diet soda when I feel the urge. I used to drink only diet soda, no water. Now I get in all my water and if I decide to have a diet soda I make sure to drink that much more extra water to make up for it. No biggie.
  16. Right after I had my surgery I hated my sleeve. I couldn't eat, drink, or do anything really. It was extremely rough those first 2 weeks or so. I regretted my decision in every way possible. BUT now I am almost 3 months out down almost 50 pounds and I am SO happy. I love the fact that I went thru with this surgery. I eat smaller portions, I make healthier food choices (sometimes not by choice but more by my sleevies choice), and I get in all my fluids and protein everyday. Having this surgery done is not easy, not at all. I am lucky to be a person who had no complications and no issues other than leaving the hospital too early and readmitting myself for some extra R and R. I hated not being able to clean, cook, and take care of my amazing little girl (2 yrs old) when I was first out of surgery. It was all worth it though. I feel like a healthy person now. I can also do things without feeling like the fattest person there too. Good Luck. Just keep reading reading reading and that way you make an informed decision. This is not the easy way out, that's a for sure. But it is worth the pain and suffering lol.
  17. congrats on being sleeved. I have been sleeved for almost 3 months now and I love it. There are times that I get frustrated with it, but overall I am happy, healthy, and still losing weight. Thank you for sharing your story, I enjoyed reading it. Good Luck and congrats again!
  18. Congrats to YOU! How Exciting right? I am at 203 right now and I am dying to be in onederland. I can't even remember a time when I was actuallyunder 200 pounds. Maybe high school but geeze that was like 10-12 years ago. I am SO happy for you because I know how exciting it will feel for me to get there, so you must be elated. Good Work keep it up!
  19. This is an awesome post. I had to laugh a little because right before my surgery I went into Victoria Secret and bought a Lrg Sweatshirt and a Lrg pair of "pink" sweatpants. The sweatshirt is now so baggy, and I am still working on the sweatpants being baggy. It was a great feeling though because I see so many girls wearing the Pink brand and I was always jealous because I couldn't fit into them, but now I can. AND so can YOU! It's an amazing feeling. Congratulations on ur succes and keep up the good work.
  20. It gets easier as time goes on. My Doc told me to focus on fluids first and protein second. You do not want to get dehydrated. I don't know where you live but if you have a Sams club they carry a protein drink called Premier Protein. It has 30g of protein and is only about 10 oz big. That is what I drink. I am 3 months out and I still get 90g of protein a day. I usually do not eat solids because I do not like the way food settles in my stomach, so I am still on protein drinks. It does get easier though believe me. I can drink big gulps and definetly drink a lot more than I could at the very beginning. When I was at your stage I still had trouble eating a whole popsicle, so don't worry. Things will be better soon, just focus on hydrating urself and take it slow. Good Luck.
  21. I feel that way too. Sometimes exercise really helps but at times I feel so crummy that I don't even want to exercise. It will pass just like any other weight loss caused problems. My boyfriend tends to forget that I am supposed to be a walking PMS crazy person, so we have been fighting more often. I'm not worried though I am just sticking to my guns and pushing thru. You will be fine too just keep up the good work and try to stay positive.
  22. you look amazing! keep up the good work.
  23. Mine is to start weighing in weekly instead of everyday. Also, I would like to be able to run 5 miles in an hour, a constant normal jog. I want to lose weight. I also want to live a healthy life and stop thinking like I am on a "diet" all the time.
  24. You will be totally fine! Try and stay positive and just amp-up your workouts for a while. The gain, like someone else said, could be caused by anything really. It doesn't really mean you gained any fat, it's honestly probably just water. Keep up the good work and stay positive! I have been in a stall since 2.5 weeks post-op and I am still stuck and I am almost 1 month post-op.. During this time the scale has fluctuated anywhere from 1-5 pounds UP and down. It kills me everytime I step on the scale, it's like my body refuses to go under 220 pounds. This is a time I always get stuck during and and all of my diets. I am doing what LilMissDiva has posted about Bootcamp something or another. It's basically a way to get yourself back on track when things seemed to have strayed. You might wanna check it out too. Good Luck.
  25. I always love when men get together and do something that many people think is for "women only". Weight Watchers is one example, I always enjoyed reading what the men wrote online and what they said in groups too. It was always so much fun with the men mixed in and this forum is no different. The men on here crack me up, and a lot of times they are the ones with the best responses. Anyways, just agreeing with you about their forum, I secretly read it too LOL.
