    Sept 24th check in

Just had my appointment with my surgeon. Wont go back now for three months. Surg aug 15th. down 34 lbs to date. pre and post. Started at 278. Now 243. Whoops make that 35 lbs can't add. LOL Feeling good overall. Stated noticing that I get light headed here lately. So trying to get more fluids in. And fatigue is finally setting in as well. So we will see what this week has to hold. Was at a stall for two weeks. but that broke the end of the week. And dropped like 3-4 lbs at once. Will break down and buy me two sets of new scrubs for work when I hit the 40lb loss mark. So I wont be baggy britches. Trying to hold off a bit longer on clothes. Just dont want to spend to much money on clothes since will have to keep replacing. Although I am NOT complaining by no means. Heres to a great week to everyone. Im off to bed. Work the next four nights in ER.

August 2011 sleevers get in here!!!!!!

Sleeved Aug 15th. Down 32 lbs to date. Doing much better. That sie stitch feeling I had in completely gone. Did have a week or so stall and then started losing again two days ago. Hoping I roll on for a while before another stall. I am havig trouble getting in fluids compeletly. Never have been a big drinker . So that is my struggle. Maybe getting in 40-48 oz a day. I work as ER nurse and we go go go. And forget to even pee sometimes. So that is also something I have to work on.

    08/15 VS and update

Well as of today I am down 30lbs. Still have that awful side stitch feeling and hurts like hell to bend over . Mainly pain on left side. the pain kind of wraps around my left side to back area. Grrrr. Becoming annoying to be honest.LOL. other than that. incisions are healing well. Little itching so I know they are healing. starting to get a little hunger off and on but nothing bad. And it takes very little to satisfy it. So I am happy so far. Once the pains are gone. I will start walking more etc. How is everyone else doing?
  5. I am noticing that I am having a side stitch pain on my left side where he took stomach out at. I didn't have that before. I started puree foods about 5 days ago. This didn't start until 3 days ago. Is it related. Or is this just normal pain. No pain anywhere else. Just my left side stomach area. How will I know if I am leaking?

    Sleevers 15th-20th

My surgery went well the 15th. Took a little longer just because they were doing a few other things while in there. But I must say it was rougher than I thought. I literally heaved. Dry heaved all afternoon and night. And that was very painful. Nothing helped. Didn't stop feeling sick until Wed afternoon. so didn't get to come home until late thursday. No pain per say. tender but tolerable. so I honestly ahve not taken any pain meds. Mine as been more belly bublling around feelings, occassional bubbly pain up under my breast bone. And I know may be TMI but nothing but ' peeing " out my hiney. That is real old. Only on liquids and Protein shakes until I see doc Fri. Having a hard time getting all fluids in. Because I am afraid o doing to much at a time. Weight wise. I started at 278. Pre op 265.8. A of this morning 257.4. Hard way to lose weight. LOL I did have the gas pains on my left neck shoulder area. They didn't completely go away until Thursday. Blowing blood out my left notril from the NG tube during surgery. guess they were a little rough there. Looking for advice on what first mush food to try first when I can.
