Ok so I made my first order today at Bariatric Choice and I ordered the Bariatric Fusion chewable in strawberry flavor and the Calcium chewable Bariatric Advantage in Caramel flavor along with Bariwise fruit drinks and Wonderslim smoothies . I wan to know how many of you have tried these and what are your opinions after trying them or which products do you recommend form them TIA

I am feeling really down,today is my day 6 post op. I am getting tired of the gas pain,the nauseas ,the vitamins and the post op liquid diet. Everyday I woke up with a bad burn sensation in my stomach,nauseas,stomach ache. I am getting depressed that I don't get better and time is going slowly. I know I am only 6 days post op and I still have a few weeks more to feel better. Is a terrible feeling. I haven't been able to take my calcium because is the citracal petites and is hard to crush and swallow,they taste awful. Any recommendations to get a good calcium ( citracal chewable ) ? I am in pain still right now. My stomach hurts and I been trying to drink my water and my Zero powerade . I can't hardly have a few sips from chicken broth. I feel so ill,I don't know what I am doing wrong. I will go the bariatric clinic today and see if I can get an IV or something. This gas chest pain in too much for me. I need some encouragement here please

Ok so I am 4 days post and my dr told me to wait at least 4-6 weeks to lift anything heavy,no more than 6 lbs. I have a 2 year old and she loves to be held. She is 30 lbs now and really tall. I thank god that my mom in law is here to help with that part till I get better. My question is for those who got sleeved and have small children,when exactly you starting feeling better so you do the normal activities you used to do with your children? Like lifting ,giving them a bath etc? I know everybody heals different. I just want some opinions. TIA

Ok so Today I am 3 days post op and my surgeon told me to follow a liquid diet for 2 weeks again like when I was pre op. The problem is that I having a lot gas pain and I feel full with just a few ounces of liquid I am not getting enough liquid like water and my protein because I can't drink it like when I was pre op : ( I am worried that I am not getting enough calories. Does this changes? I still feeling sore but not being hungry worries me. I really NEED to drink my daily protein and that is not happening. Any suggestions to make this easier? I don't want to have anemia because of not eating well. For the gas I been walking to see if that helps. TIA

I was 200 the day of my surgery and I started at 216,they won't cancel your surgery,They like you lose weight,so it means you follow diet and it gets easier for them to perform your surgery.

You can also mixed sleeve with "yo amo " "yo amo mi sleeve" or sounds even nicer "Amo mi Sleeve" Paola is right sleeve is manga, but manga has different meaning in Spanish Like Sleeve in English . Manga could be a hose or tube and also manga means the sleeve of a shirt Suggestions : "Amo mi vida, Amo mi sleeve" "I love my life, I love my sleeve "

Ok so I'm 1 day post op and I started my liquids today , It hurts terrible that I can even sip , it hurts pretty bad to swallow . Today I could not even eat SF Jello no mater how long I chew it When it goes down hurts terribly . Does this gets better at my 2nd or 3rd day? The most that is bothering me in the chest pain , it feels so tight . I been walking and trying to sip but nothing improves it. I really hope I can drink better tomorrow . How many days does it takes for the pain when swallow even water to go away? I'm exhausted and thristy and when I sip is a nightmare!!!

Everything went well . So far so good , just some chest pain when I drink and belly cramps. I been walking a lot and sipping my water

My surgery was yesterday and my surgeon said everything went great. Now today I'm starting my liquids slowly . I'm having chest pain especially when I drink and stomach cramps , is this normal? My Dr checked my heart and said is ok .Could this be related to gas? Any tips on drinking the first time ? Everytime I drink feels horrible, my belly hurts and my chest does this gets better ?

Well my lucky day is tomorrow,wish me luck guys, this website has been so helpful. I thank everybody for all the info. I am extremely nervous and scared. I just hope everything goes well. I don't know yet what time exactly , I have to call in about 2 hours and find out but for sure will be in the morning. I am looking forward to live a happy and healthy life.The main reason I am doing this is because of that and of course I have to LIVE for my 2 year daughter :smile1: I will take any prayers and well wishes now :smile1: Thanks!!!!

As much as I been tempted ,I haven't cheat one single ay of my diet, I know my surgeon told me that he won't perform my surgery if he opens me and see that I did not follow the pre op liquid diet. He will send me home. So I really need this surgery to improve my health and I am sticking with my pre op diet . I don't know how strict is your surgeon.
