you're welcome!! Reality is: being on a "diet" sucks. Being healthy and normal is possible! I have pretty much weighed the exact same for 11 months with this philosophy. I will not go back to my old ways and gain weight but I am enjoying life and don't have to worry about staying under 1200 calories to weigh 130lbs.

    Generic Omeprazole

I also take omeprazole everyday, and actually twice a day sometimes. I have since 2006. My gerd got worse post sleeve, and that's not uncommon.

long term data on vsg ?

My mom had stomach cancer 23 years ago and basically had 3/4 of her stomach removed. She went from 190lbs to 125lbs and has been there since. She has been normal and healthy since, she eats small portions just like me.......

everyone is different. The reason I don't want to be 130 is I would have to diet and constantly worry and count calories. Regain would be a constant worry and battle for me. There are tons of sleevers that make it down to normal weight! Don't give up. How far out are you?

Thank you!! I was lucky, my surgeon was honest and told me to shoot for 175 with the sleeve and that would be a good result. He advised if I wanted to weigh 130lbs I should get the RNY, but my quality of life and health might not be as good. I feel normal ! That's all I wanted!

    Qysemia

It wasn't around before I was sleeved but I have seen success with it, (a friend and a patient-- I am a RN) Your appetite really is suppressed with it. My problem with this is.... (I have taken phentermine in the past... part of Qysemia)... I would end up not wanting to take it cause I wanted to eat!! Lol

    Weight loss VS Roller coasters

I am pretty sure when I was a size 22-24 I was still able to ride all the rides at Valley Fair (big theme park in MN) I weighed 260ish at 5'4''... See my pre-op pics on my profile, especially the one where I am standing. I think you will be ok!
  23. YES! I enjoy all the same things, about half the quantity as before, and I choose more wisely. (2 years out)
  24. I am 2 years out, my hunger came back at 5-6 months post op. real hunger! But it hasn't hindered me too much. I am within 4- 5 pounds of my goal/ low weight. :-)
