Yay! So when are you having your procedure or did you already? I'm scheduled for 7/13 and can hardly wait! Of course my excitement is to get to the other side.. not this pre op stuff. LOL!

Where are you / did you have it done?

3 days left of liquid diet.. moved to clears today. Took my required laxative and now feeling a little nauseous. (I was going to say crappy but that would be bad..right?)

3RD week of stall.. wondering how long my body can fight the weight loss. Would love to hear from others 1-3 months out and how you are doing..

7 real meals left until the liquid diet... have been eating wheat the last few days after pretty much eliminating it from my diet and feel so sluggish & gross. I know I'll be hungry on the liquid diet but I'm looking forward to feeling good again!

Aww.. Thanks sweetdreams! I'm sure I'm going to freak a little when it comes time to leave my family and go over the border. However I feel like this is something I just have to do. There is so much I want to do yet in life and being overweight is just holding me back. I guess it will be just me and God because seriously that is the only way I'll be getting thru the pre-op diet anyway.

Been a long time since I've been on here but coming up to my 90 day mark. Things are going fairly well, down 40lbs. Should be down more but am still a sugar addict.

Cleaned out the fridge.. no I don't mean eating. I mean actually pulling everything out and cleaning it. Can't imagine wanting to do that job while only having liquids. Kept thinking by the time I do this again I'll be post surgery!

Crashed my husband's doctors support group last night. There were some lap bands, some gastric by pass patients and only 2 other sleevies. But it was fun to hear their stories. One girl was down from 300lbs to a size 4. Amazing!

Day 2 of liquid diet.. well this is a challenge for those of us who are used to a full belly. Dieting was never my forte or I wouldn't be in this position. I just need to make it thru a training presentation with my bosses and serving a group of people lunch. NO problem.. right?

Down 11lbs with the pre-op diet. I want a protein shake though! Don't understand this 3 days of clears when some surgeons let their patients eat a full meal the night before! Why no protien?

First day back at body pump class in months! Didn't do anything more than 10lbs but my muscles are shaking!

Got a new haircut to go with the new me! However, no new photo yet because I'm still sporting this black eye from when I passed out after surgery and fell on the floor.

Hi Cathi, I'm going to Tijuana for my surgery on 7/12.. not quite Mexicali but still Mexico! I have been so excited about the surgery, well .. more for the after effects then the actual survey but am now starting to get the nerves too. I think it's normal. I also did not understand the aspiring evangelist and junior guru and sleeve master for awhile.. there should be a how to guide. LOL!

Hi dreams.. I have a 5 day liquid diet that starts Thursday. Then I stay in the hospital for 2 nights and then the recovery hotel for another night or two. Did I tell you that I'm having my surgery in Mexico? Kind of funny when there is a perfectly good bariatric surgeon across the street from where I work. Insurance won't pay so I have to and that is why.
