Yes, I was going to go through this company next year because i needed time to save up money. When i went on their facebook page yesterday i saw that they were hosting a contest and giving away a free gastric sleeve. Can you tell me from your point of view why you wouldn't go through with it?

I need your support
I recently enrolled in healthcare benefits for 2017 at my job and they do not cover bariatric surgery. Dr. Maytorena from Long Term VSG is hosting a contest for a giveaway of a free gastric sleeve procedure. We were asked to make a video stating why we needed the procedure and why we thought Dr. Maytorena would be a good doctor. The winner is the contestant that has the most likes on their video via the Long Term VSG facebook page. I need your support by watching and liking my video submission on their page. I have included a clickable link to the post. Thank you in advance for your help! <3 https://www.facebook.com/longtermvsg/posts/10153842916770216?notif_t=like¬if_id=1479520537966154

Chin Hair and Weight Loss?
DO NOT TWEEZE! your making everything worse. Shave instead of tweezing. I've had lazer removal and saw a big difference. I would of continued but It's not cheap and I wasn't working at the time. I haven't had WLS yet but the lady that did lazer removal told me tweezing is the worse thing someone can do to remove their chin hair.

How long did it take to cross the border at San Diego?
Hotel Lucerna looks so beautiful. I'll see you there. I come in Thursday and my surgery is Friday morning.

I know nothing about this however, I see your having your surgery on Thursday by Dr. Kelly. I'm having mine on Friday. I've been searching for a sleeve buddy but couldn't find anyone around my date. Are you going alone?

My grandmother my favorite person on this world. I understand your love for her. However, please don't sell the ring. What's meant to be will be. If you truly need this surgery and God knows it will change your life. The money is going to come regardless. He will make a way for you. All I can suggest is finding a loan company if your father can't provide the amount for you, but I'd be sad if you gave up something so beautiful. Best of Luck!

There's some good surgeons in Mexico who are cheap. At alighterme.com there is Dr. Lopez-Ortega. He has a package deal with hospital stay+hotel stay, pre-op testing, free transportation, free calls to the US & more for only $5,000. The next cheapest I know is Dr. Almanza. I've heard great things about him. He is $5200. I'm going to Dr.Kelly. He has been doing this procedure almost 10 years. His cost is $5,500. If your dad can give you around 2500 you'll be good to go.

I know how you feel. I wouldn't give up the only thing you have to hold from her. That is important to you, and I bet once you give it away you'll miss it. Have you tried looking at no patient left behind. If you have half of the money for surgery they will pay the other half for you.

who's gone and had a good experience in mexico?

Congrats on your sleeve! I have PCOS. I've had this annoying syndrome since I was 13. I'm so happy that this surgery and other WLS helps but the annoying side effects into remission.

Looking to make the 20 somethings forum active
Hi Fat4now. I actually used to live in Charlotte for a while. I went to JWU downtown. I still go there often to visit my best friend. I'm having my procedure done in mexico. My insurance covered the procedure however, I would have had to switch the plan I was on, and have to wait the 6 months that you're doing now. I'm somewhat impatient and didn't want to go that route. I waited two months and saved up for Dr. Kelly in Tijuana. He's one of the cheaper Doctors but has been doing this procedure for 9 years. Best of luck on your 6 month diet. I really hope that the insurance approves you.
