  1. Enjoyed your post! I am one week out tomorrow. I have been home since Friday and am feeling pretty good. I am excited to say that I just finished 1/2 an egg scrambled soft with a little cheddar and it went down really good. I am drinking my Protein shakes(maybe 3oz at a time) 4 or 5 times a day. I have also tried yogurt, applesauce, malt o meal, chicken broth with a few noodles and mashed potato with garlic salt. I am looking forward to being 30 days out like you.

    Yay Me!!!

I was sleeved on Wednesday May 11 and I can't wait to get rid of all those 3X's.Yay for us!
  3. ok, so surgery was Wednesday and I got home yesterday. For a little whild last night I felt almost normal -) you know like myself. I'm doing pretty well, still trying to get rid of some of the gas though. That really was the worst part. Oh, and being in the hospital itself. I hate it, the noise and the hard hard beds. Anyways that is past me now. Oh, and remember to ask for a private room.

    Surgery tomorrow

Thanks for the support! My Mom is crazy worried and my only child just had her first child. My first grandbaby. I really want to keep the weight off this time so I can play with him instead of being too tired all the time. My Mom doesn't understand why I have chosen now to have surgery but my daughter is trying to be supportive. I have a great husband and he does his best to support any decision I make but none of them really know where I'm coming from. My knees and my back hurt all the time. I want to be healthy!

    Surgery tomorrow

Hi Fellow Sleevers, This is my first post. I've been reading for a couple of weeks now but now it's here. My surgery date is tomorrow. I thought I would have more trouble going clear liquid today but it wasn't too bad. Even fixed the husband lasagne for dinner. I'm being sleeved at 12pm at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital. It all came together really quick. I started classes on January 13, 2010 with Kaiser. They require 12 weeks of classes and when I started they told us the wait would be 4-6 months after our classes finished but they have contracted with Fountain Valley now and I am one of their first Kaiser patients. I am pretty nervous but reading your posts have helped. Wish me luck and I will post again when I get home.
