  1. Hey everyone I've started a new Q&A video series on my YouTube Channel for WLS patients. If you have a question, please feel free to email me or post on my facebook page. I'm always glad to help in any way I can! Here's a link to the first video -

    My Journey

Hello everyone. I'm not new here, though I don't believe I've ever posted before. I've been reading this site over the past 16 months and it's really inspiring to see all of the people going through the same journey that I've been on. I wanted to take a moment to share my story with you and hopefully spread the word about what I'm trying to do on the internet when it comes to VSG education and counseling for WLS patients in general. I started off almost two years ago at nearly 430lbs. I was able to drop down to 365 prior to surgery and have since dropped to 185lbs (my current weight). I have resolved my diabetes (A1C level is under 6) and gotten rid of my high cholesterol and high blood pressure problems as well. Currently the only medications I take are acid reducers and Vitamins. I know that there are times when obesity seems like a prison with no escape, but there is hope and it's never too late to change your life... I'm living and breathing proof of that fact. I blogged my entire journey on my website and via YouTube at http://justinsjourney.com and I invite you all to check that out and let me know your thoughts. Since being sleeved I have become an advocate/mentor to WLS patients around the country and I'm doing whatever I can to help as many people as I can through this journey. I'm also starting a fitness initiative for people who lead sedentary lifestyles (like myself) called GetGeekFit which I hope to launch in 2013. I love hearing from people, getting feedback, and most of all, helping answer any questions that potential or current WLS patients may have. Feel free to contact me via my website at http://justinseeley.com or shoot me a message via twitter or facebook. Again, I'm very proud of all the success I've achieved and so very proud of all of my fellow sleevers that I see here. Keep pushing hard, keep living life, and keep being AWESOME.
