    My Story

Well I pray that All goes well for you. All in due season! My advice to you would be to adapt yourself to the eating plan that you will be on the sleeve. Proteins first veggies and then carb. Loose weight now, don't gain because you could already have a head start...
  2. Thanks for responding! You are doing great on your weight loss! How much have you lost so far? I am hoping to speed up my weightloss so any advice will be appreciated!
  3. Hi guys my name is Tammie, here in the Ga. Area. I had the GS done January 28th... 9weeks ago and 40 pounds down. I joined this forum a while back under the name: Totally Free but when trying to log back on, it didn't allow it. So here I am (so if you see that name, it was me). I excited about the possibilities of seeing the 100's again. I started at 268 and that will be a major blessing to break from 200! Im looking for mentors, and email pals. Hit me up if interested.
  4. I'm 9wks out and only 40 pounds loss. I was feeling discouraged after reading that someone lost 56 pounds in 2months, thinking I was doing something wrong. Yet after reading the different post, I'm feeling better about everything. One thing I do agree with is, when having the surgery, it is imperative that the wls patient understands that this is only a tool, a means to an end but not "the end". I like to think that sleeve surgery puts us who struggle with weight, at the starting line with those who don't struggle... Work on renewing the mind, the rest will follow.
